On our arrival there was no hot water and heating. The problem wasn't resolved until the afternoon of the next day. The first night it was so cold in the flat that we slept in our jackets and the warmest clothes as the blankets were very thin and there weren't extra blankets.

The apartment is quite cramped for three people. It might be okay for a couple, but any more than that feels too tight. The bathroom was a real letdown: outdated, uncomfortably small shower, broken toilet flush, and a door that wouldn’t close properly. The heating system didn’t work well, with radiators ignoring the thermostat settings. On top of that, the gas water heater was unstable, and getting a hot shower required too much fiddling. I paid €310 for two nights, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately, my experience with this apartment was not great. While there were some positives—like clean bedding, a generally tidy space, a convenient location close to attractions, and good communication with the host—the negatives far outweighed them.

Steep stairs to get to the apartment (our was in 3rd floor), not nice with bags and tired after a long trip.

Location is great, 5 min to vaporetto stop and walking distance to many shops, restaurants and attractions, apartment is comfy with everything you need, host always replied super fast and kind.

The floor wasn’t cleaned properly when we arrived, and the washing machine didn’t work (or at least I couldn’t get it to work). No cutlery were available at the property.

Theblocation of the property was very good, only a 15 minute walk from Piazza San Marco.

The apartment needed a lot of work doing as most of the items around the house were breaking and needed maintenance. New pillows are needed as they are stained.

Before we arrived to Venice our host was fantastic and making sure we where getting to the island safely with great directions, quick response and suggested a safer and easier way to get to the apartment from the airport. We couldn’t fault the hosts for the hospitality.

 The bathroom is small with a broken washing machine taking up space and a very small shower. There was no lighting on the stairs and there were no handrails in parts. The hanging rail in the wardrobe is very high up so difficult to use if you’re not tall!

The apartment was good, in a very nice location. However, the air conditioner in the bedroom was so loud that it was impossible to sleep when it was on.

It was really little. We were traveling with our 18 year old son and we would have been more comfortable with a larger space. He’s 6 feet tall and he couldn’t turn around in the shower because his shoulders are too broad 😂 There was only A/C in the bedroom and it wasn’t strong enough to cool the living room/kitchen area so it was very hot in there most of the time. But there was a portable fan that we could move around to get air circulating. The button on the wall to flush the toilet was broken. Luckily the panel covering the button was also broken, so we took the panel off and then we could push the button and it would flush. I did message the host about those two issues and she assured me they would check into them after we checked out. Hopefully they get fixed soon😀 Also, prior to check in, we were sent a confirmation of our accommodations with photos. In the photos the kitchen clearly has an oven, but there was no oven in our apartment. That’s ok though. It was too hot to cook!

We loved that this apartment was in a quiet part of Venice. There were many cafes and restaurants within just a few minutes. Saint Mark’s square was only about a 15 minute walk away. There was a Vaporetto stop a couple minutes away. There is a small washing machine which was wonderful to have. The staff sent out a welcome letter prior to check in that explained the self check in, and has really useful information about the apartment and the check out expectations. Staff responded quickly to any questions and/or concerns.

It wasn't dirty, but it wasn't overly clean. It looked like it had been swept quickly but not cleaned. The toilet was clean, but a little small. The AC was a bit loud and made some strange noises. WiFi was very poor. Its a small apartment and the WiFi connection was bad or non existent in most of it.

Decent location a few mins walk from shops, bars and cafes, but nice and quiet. Feels like a place locals live.

Lots of stairs to go up as it’s a 3rd floor loft. The handrail doesn’t go all the way to the top. That’s not so bad going up but you had to be very careful coming down. Some more detailed instructions for the washing machine and where to find light switches (for the top floor landing) would be useful.

Good location for Venice. Quiet environment was a bonus, but it’s still close to bars and restaurants.
