Wow! What a gem! Right in the heart of Santa Tecla—an authentic Sicilian village—this place is the perfect spot to experience true local life. The B&B is set right on the waterfront, with views of both the sea and the charming town piazza. There’s beautiful shared terrace with sunbeds where guests can enjoy sea view. All outdoor areas are amazing: thoughtfully designed, green, with a lovely garden, making the breakfast or aperitifs just perfect! We stayed in the Africa Room and loved absolutely everything: the stylish interior, smart gadgets, balcony overlooking the sea, jacuzzi with a tropical shower. Every detail is designed with taste and comfort in mind! A big applause to hosts for your hospitality, efficient communication, flexibility, attentiveness and for excellent coffee. Two details: - I am not a fan of self check in. I very much prefer being welcomed by a human host - breakfast was very pleasant, good juices, great pastries. The salty buffet was a bit disappointing.

The bathroom door was glass and didn't seem to close properly, it was either opening when not needed or getting stuck. The TV remote wasn't working, but just need to charge it.

The room and building itself are super modern, renovated and the reception area is filled with plants. The Christmas mood was easy to fill there, Christmas songs playing in the hall and Christmas trees on first floor. The room was super clean, bed was very comfortable and the blanket was huge. They even gave us small gift, very thoughtful!

The host was able to deal with an error I made while booking in a very kind way and going the extra mile. The set up of the building of the b&b is exceptional with a sun terrace and direct access to the beach (rocky) through a gate. Breakfast requests are taken the day before and tailored to the taste of the guests.

Overall our stay was unforgettable, but if there was something that we'd wish to improve would be the wi-fi signal. We'd love the hotel to have a modem booster in order to have internet service while hanging out in the patio area, or on the sunbeds at the wonderful terrace.

My family and I booked the Asia room which was great for 4 people, we really enjoyed the comfortable beds and the spacious bathroom. The room was extremely clean and had a great vibe, my dad had a blast watching his favorite soccer derby on the smart tv! Anja, the housekeeper, was the highlight of our accomodation, very helpful and respectful, cooked us delicious breakfast, and offered useful tips to navigate the area.

Without any doubt, one of the best places to stay in Sicily! It is made in a modern style with love and taste for every detail. Nothing superfluous, beautiful design of all spaces and rooms. Wonderful terrace with its own sun loungers overlooking the sea. It feels like everything at the hotel is just for you. The service is excellent - daily cleaning, very cozy and well-kept territory, timely replenishment of cosmetics for the bathroom and other necessary little things, such as slippers and robes. We really liked the breakfasts in the cozy garden surrounded by flowers and fragrant herbs, many thanks for that to Ania! We were constantly spoiled with different delicacies. Brioche and granita - this is love for the whole life! The sea is simply excellent - clean, warm, calm. The seashore is made of black volcanic stone, but there is a convenient descent down the stairs nearby. This is a quiet hotel and this is what makes it attractive. We were looking for exactly this kind of place. It would be good to rent a car there. But for us personally, this was not a disadvantage, because we liked everything and there was no need to go anywhere. We were incredibly happy to meet Claudia and Fabrizio, who made our holiday unforgettable and special indeed! They are open-minded, responsive and always ready to help immediately if necessary, for example with some medicine or transfer from/to airport. Always understanding of the problem or special requests of guests. With special warmth, we remember our joint trip to the winery Firriato and the excursion to the Etna region, where we spent our wonderful last evening of our holiday! We will definitely come back! The property offers private sea access, though the short path to the shore is a bit rocky, which I can see being annoying for those with little kids. For me it was more than fine. However, there's a public access point via stairs just 30 seconds away in the nearby square. Despite being close to nearby cities, a car is necessary if you want to move around the region often, as public transportation after 8 PM is limited, like in much of Sicily.

I recently stayed at this beautiful property in the village of Santa Tecla, just a 12-minute drive from Acireale. The accommodation is very modern, featuring unique artwork and a design focused on relaxation, which made it easy to unwind. Claudia and Fabrizio, the hosts, were incredibly kind and welcoming, ensuring I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The space is maintained daily and well-equipped with all the essentials and more. The Ionian sea is fantastic—crystal clear, and you can often see fish while swimming. Breakfast options are both sweet and savory choices, and the sweet options are sourced freshly from a local pastry shop. As a solo traveler, I had all the privacy and relaxation I was looking for. Overall, my week-long stay was almost perfect, and I would highly recommend this BnB to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

Everything was perfect. Absolutely no complaints.

We just spent 9 nights at Euphorbia while exploring eastern Sicily. This is one of the most exceptional places we ever stayed in. The lovely owner has impeccable taste and has thought of every detail herself while designing the space. It's located on a lively little "piazza" and has an amazing sea view. The house is recently renovated so everything is brand new and modern. There are extraordinary luxuries in the rooms like Alexa. There is a tiny swimming spot right next to the house with the freshest water. The owners and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything was always very clean. Great breakfast. It was an unforgettable experience. Can't recommend enough.

Amazing amazing. Claudia meet us and couldn’t have been more helpful. She went over and beyond. The most wonderful location with everything imaginable at our disposal. The property is situated not far from the local church and beside a little piazza overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was served by Anna. It was the breakfast of champions. The rooms were very well appointed and the bathroom in Africa room is something else. The water bottle in our room was a lovely touch. Claudia and Fabrizio have a hidden gem. Can’t wait to return. There's nothing not to like here.

We had a lovely stay in Claudia's and Fabrizio's place, right by the sea. Santa Tecla near Acireale is a great place for excursions in the area, but it's l also nice to just sit on the terrace and in the garden relaxing. Fabrizio has definitely a green thumb, the living wall at the entrance looks amazing.

The hot tub needs to be sorted for an easy empty as the plug wasn't working or wasn't so intuitive therefore I couldn't take a shower in the morning. So you need to call the housekeeper to help. The owners kept having small arguments in front of us as they live in the same B&B definitely not professional.

Location, easy access to the nice balcony with the gorgeous view. A bottle of water that you can refill nice idea, and everything they provide is locals.

The parking was 2 streets away but that is a very short walk.

Very nice host. The breakfast was excellent and the view as well. Nice jacuzzi and very good bed. Comfortable. High end shower and quiet ac. Lava stone beach in walking distance as well as seafood restaurants and pizza restaurant. There are very nice sunbeds directly in front of the sea. The balcony has an amazing view.

THE LOCATION IS ALSO VERY NON-TOURISTY NEXT TO THE VILLAGE SQUARE WHERE THE CHILDREN PLAY HAPPILY UNTIL LATE IN THE EVENING AND THERE'S A FANTASTIC RESTAURANT, LORENZO'S, 3 DOORS DOWN. AN ITALIAN GEM.
