It was difficult to locate the property exactly. For an Australian, some of the bathroom fittings required explanation.

Breakfast could be better. And having some umbrellas available for guests to borrow would be good. It rained a couple of times and as there were no umbrellas available, we got wet!

Breakfast was just coffee & cookies so I wouldn’t really call that breakfast, room for improvement there, for sure Location was excellent, it was quiet, warm & comfortable.

Nothing at all. It is hard and expensive (45 €/day) to park your car in the city center. Also you have to leave the keys there. I suggest to leave the car out of the city- on the big parking near the last tramway station. It was 14 € for 3 days.

Couldn't figure out how to work the shower for ages but managed eventually! The waterfall shower head didn't work for me.

Lunaria Suites was the perfect choice for my time in Florence (travelling alone). The check-in process was super easy, and the location is ideal — very central, easy to find, and within walking distance of all the major attractions. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. I especially loved the stylish bathroom and the high-quality products provided — such a thoughtful detail. Despite the central location, the room was quiet and peaceful (at least mine was, as it didn’t face the main street). Ginevra was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. She was easy to reach via WhatsApp and gave great recommendations for restaurants, bars, and advice on taxis. Highly recommended!

Only small inconvenience was couldn’t get the shower tap to work (until we found handy guide at reception) and we never got the waterfall shower head working so just had to use the hose. As we checked in online and key was left at reception was unsure who to contact to ask for help. This was very minor though and still had a lovely experience - just an item to note.

The wifi was broken and wasn’t fixed while we were there. Given the history of the house and the street, I was very surprised to see the books available and rooms did not reflect this. Dostoevsky wrote “The Idiot” in that very house and there were no copies for guests to read or anything relating to Dostoevsky. It seems strange to include him in the name and then provide nothing to inform visitors about him or the book. Machiavelli also lived on the street and the building is opposite the Medici palace. There was no mention of this anywhere either. Dostoyevsky was the reason I chose it so I was disappointed there was nothing about him except the plaque outside the door .

The location was perfect. The room was decorated nicely and was clean. The check in was easy. Nice complimentary toiletries. Comfortable bed.

Location was slightly noisy in early hours, didn’t encounter any staff so can’t comment but communication via messages is good. Little confusing to advertise as a boutique bed and breakfast as no breakfast but bar Pitti below was a great breakfast place

The property was perfectly located and the interiors were very beautiful and you can tell a lot of thought has been put into it. The bed was incredibly comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. Communication was great and it was super easy to access the property when I arrived.

Although the staff was super nice and helpful, we couldn’t control the air conditioning. This was very annoying and also we got cold from this since it was working constantly and it was cold outside

No face to face interaction from staff, unmanaged reception desk and was hesitant to leave our luggage there unattended or unlocked. Staff via email would not allow us a slightly early check in at 1 so we could go touring despite us requesting months ago. Reminder sent a day before to vacate promptly at 10 which I’ve never received from other places, again nowhere to leave luggage after checkout if you have a late flight out. No breakfast available on the property despite calling it a bnb.

There is some works going on in the building that caused noise which was a little bit of a shame but I guess that cannot be helped.

The room was amazing as was the location. I liked the no contact check in and check out, it suited me. The room was absolutely stunning and just the bit of luxury I wanted.

There was nothing we didn't like. However, some clearer instruction on location would have been helpful. We did get very good instruction, however we didn't understand that there can be two street numbers the same in one street (so perhaps mention of a land mark would help). We also didn't have clear instructions for the air conditioner, so we had periods where it wasn't working. We didn't realise leaving the bathroom window slightly ajar stopped the air conditioner (until the last morning). Other than that, we would absolutely stay here again.

New, modern, great facilities, extras like coffee and biscuits, excellent location, comfortable bed, good size room and bathroom.

What can I say? This was the best stay we've had in Europe so far. The hotel room and accommodation is immaculately decorated, with a beautifully designed interior and a luxurious feel. Being right in the heart of Florence meant we were right in the middle of the action; walking out the front doors, you're straight into the pulsing street life of the old world area. In terms of cost for value, location and comfort, this is an absolute gem of a find and I couldn't recommend it highly enough!
