How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Very nice and clean hotel. The shower and bathroom size is very small though. The staff were very nice and communicate and respond immedietly on whats app. The room was very clean and nice coffee shop down the building for simple breakfast. The aircondition sound was little bit high, my son felt it, but it did not bother me.

Some of the rooms can be really really small, but they have everything you require for a quick short stay
Proximity to the Germany, as well as very centrally located for Metro’s buses and in the mix of things

It was a bit hard to find, but the host was so extremely helpful when I called on WhatsApp! She walked me through finding it and getting checked in digitally. I highly recommend!!!
The location was so close to the train station which was great!! The bed, linens and pillows were the most comfortable out of all the places we stayed at on a 2 week trip to Italy. We wished we had an additional night just to enjoy this fabulous room and comfy bed!

The window doesn’t have Sound insulation, quite difficult to sleep at night.

It was a little noisy outside our window, but it’s in the heart of Roma, so it should be expected.
Very clean, freshly remodeled, secure and great location near the train station.

I could have send my documents by WHATTS app but was encouraged to walk in the heat with suitcases to do my Registration even when an alternative existed. Theo is a shared building with other hotels so you have to use only the door they give you the code for although there is acesss to the building thru the other hotel check in area- owner is sensitive about using his acesss. I have to say thought our receptionist was wonderful and charming and earl and welcoming in a way of a bygone time! Almost like time warp where our arrival was all that mattered! Given the property that was a surprise and charming aspect! Rooms were a bit tight but that’s big cities with night tourists density I suppose

Shower was a little bit small but not sure if it was just our room type. Absolutely fine for a couple of nights though!
Rooms were lovely and clean, being able to check in and leave luggage at their sister hotel down the road is a huge bonus and the staff there were lovely!

You can leave the luggage but in their partner hotel that you have to walk a bit.

The twin room was not very spacious, hard for 2 people to walk around at the same time. No reception in the building, although they have a reception in their sister hotel about 6-7 minutes walk away.
Excellent location, beautifully designed rooms, totally different to the front entrance of the hotel. Tea/coffee provided in the room, access to building and rooms is digital, great to not have to worry about a room key.

Great location, walking distance from lots of great restaurants. About 15-20 mins east walk to Trevi Fountain, or Colosseum. We got in early so we checked our bags at the sister hotel at Flower Garden which is only a 5 mins walk away while we explored Rome. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful!
