We (my husband and I) had six nights at this outstanding hotel, which is so tastefully decorated and makes you feel at home. Daniela and Pina provided an absolutely first class service…it was discreet and empathetic. Everything from recommending tours to recommending the best restaurants Lucca has to offer and booking them was taken care of. They were a big factor in making this stay unforgettable. The breakfast is a chapter of its own, never have we experienced such a well-prepared and varied breakfast in a hotel before. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place to everyone on our way.

A gem inside of Lucca. Great location. Individual boutique rooms that are lavishly furnished. Facilities were excellent with great choice at breakfast. Unfortunately could only stay for one night as would have definitely booked for longer. Staff were so nice and helpful giving that individual touch making you feel like a member of the family. Would highly recommend that everyone should stay and experience the hotel at least one night whilst visiting Lucca.

The only think I would recommend would be if a couple of extra sockets could be provided in the bedroom that could take UK adapters. With so many things that need charging these days that would be helpful, but we managed absolutely fine and it didn’t detract from the holiday…it is simply a suggestion.

The property itself was a wonderful blend of combining an historic building with modern tasteful fittings. It was very clean everywhere. Our bedroom had a large, comfortable super king bed, a great powerful shower, and fluffy white towels with cosy dressing gowns. Breakfast was delicious with an excellent buffet and the option to have some ingredients freshly prepared in addition. Daniela and Pina were exceptional hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they provided thoughtful extra touches to make the stay a memorable experience. The hotel was also in an excellent central location within the old walls of Lucca and easy walking to everything.

This is a fantastic booking in an amazing location with the kindest and most accommodating staff we have ever experienced! The hotel itself is a beautifully appointed villa, but the lovely staff is what makes it special! So many special extras from sunup to sundown. Delicious breakfast with many options ready-to-eat and made to order and self-serve nightcap cookies and liqueur awaiting you before bedtime. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Location was private, quiet, and extremely safe. We wanted for nothing. It was perfection and we can't wait to come back!

I could not fault the property or stay.

Lucca Heritage Retreat is a must. Pina and Daniela are two of the most warm, friendly and professional staff you will meet. You are very well looked after and they both always have a smile on their faces. The accomodation and premises are breathtakingly stunning. You feel like you are in a movie. The breakfast is delicious and could not fault along with the room and comfort. I would recommend staying in Lucca more than 2 nights. The food, sightseeing, architecture is unreal. Happy booking ✨
