How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The sofa in the living room (bed for third person) is very old and makes a lot of noise, which wakes you up when you are sleeping. Also about the kitchen. There was no frying pan, so if you plan to fry something you won’t be able to do it. There were 2 pots, not very big but we managed to eat. And there were a lot of ants on the surface of the kitchen. They’re not dangerous, but would be nice to solve this problem.
Was a lot of space for family of 3. Master bedroom is totally new, bed sheets smelled amazing and the rooms looked very clean. The location is great, the beach is 3 min away and it’s clean and almost empty, so you can relax and enjoy the sun. The buss stop to the city is also very close to the hostel, shops for food and fresh fish are nearby 😊

No wooden cutting board.
I liked it a lot. The stuff was very helpfull. Very clean place, unfortunetely the iron chairs outside are in very bad quality and I got rash from sitting on it. I just put blanket another time when I was sitting on it and I was good. Definitilely go!

It is not easy to get to the city center by public transport. You need to walk to the stop and from the stop
I liked how they greeted me and explained everything. It's a very cool location, a few minutes walk to the beach and supermarket.

Lovely place, we stayed for 3 nights and felt at home. Nice room, quiet place but really close to the beach and the supermarket. The staff was welcoming and kind.

Very poor wifi connection. The light in the common area couldn't be turned off for the night and since the apartment door was glass, it lit up the whole room for the night. Also, smoking was allowed in the common area, which was right by the windows, so smoke came is through the open windows when the neighbors were smoking outside.
Close to the beach and shops, but still quiet. Nice design, very clean.

Everything about the apartment was fine. A huge advantage for me was a close location to the small local beach, about 1 minute walk from the apartament. The shops around the area were also more local than tourist-like which was also a big plus.

Perfect location if you rent a car. A bit far from the old town. The host very responsive and helpful. Contacted us via WhatsApp when our apartment was ready, so we didn't have to wait for check in time. Lovely cleaning lady :) Apartment have everything what you need. Close to the shop and lovely restaurant. Very close to the beach.

We liked everything
The apartment is really nice, looks like brand new, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Very good contact with the host and totally surprising nice gifts at the place. If you plan to stay in this part of Bari (f. ex. near Lido Trampolino) we totally recommend this place!

The cleanliness and the service of the cleaning ladies were above expectations. They came every day, brought coffee and fresh tovels. The host was nice too.

There was a lot of construction work going on near by made it a bit noisy. it could do with a shutter or blind in the door.
Property very high spec and very clean good location for the beach.

we did not have anything to complain about.
We loved the accomodation, very clean and beds exceptionally comfortable . The City Center was easily assessable by bus and the Beach was very close . The Hostess was so friendly and could not have assist us more with anything we needed
