How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great option for a short stay since the rooms are not soundproof so your peace depends on other people. The room is in an apartment with 2 other rental rooms. There's a common area with table and boiler to make some tea. Coffee maker and some sweet snacks are provided inside the room. Exceptionally clean bathroom. Very comfortable beds. Air conditioner worked perfectly - important for summer heat.

The guesthouse is very well located near villa Borghese and the city center, near shops and restaurants. The room has everything you need, (even a coffee machine and a minibar with complementary soft drinks), it is nicely decorated, the bed is very comfortable, and as our room was giving onto an inner courtyard, it was quiet. The bathroom is super clean with a lovely shower and everything you need. I enjoyed having fresh fruit available in the kitchen and being able to make a cup of tea. The staff, Aleksandra and Elena, are very friendly and put a lot of heart into making their place as pleasant and comfortable as possible for their guests!

- it was hard to sleep with the window open due to some beeping noise coming from the patio. I know that the property’s hosts can’t do much about it, but it was really bothering us at night… - the power outlets were quite old and not exactly compatible with our devices. I advise the guests to bring an extension cord.

There were no drinking glasses in the room. There was no stopper in the bathroom sink, a small issue of which I made the reception aware.
The accommodation was exactly as pictured. Fabulous bed! Great towels. Safe and secure location. Very precise directions on arriving and checking in to the property. No noise at the property.

A bit noisy, because of other customers, but the staff apologised and offer us a free access to the fridge. Not their fault.
Very kind staff. Great location, close enough to Termini station and with plenty of restaurants around.

Just a small thing - the doors are not very soundproofed so there is a lot of noise from the communal area if anyone is using it. But the other people there didn't stay up too late so it worked out okay.
Very clean and new furnishings, decent sized space. Nice building and location, very safe neighbourhood. The in-room pod coffee is very handy. No contact check in was super easy and the hosts were very helpful.

The staff is on premise for a very limited time everyday.

My family & I enjoyed our stay. Our family room (2 x double beds) was clean & comfortable with air conditioning. There was also a fridge in the room, which was useful. It was ideal for our short break. Close enough for us to walk into the centre of Rome & see the sights. There was also a small kitchen area where you could make a drink.

The location is excellent , all public transport options are near by. The property gives you a full Italian home feel. The owner and staff is very helpful and quick to response. They have excellent kitchenette and room. Their balcony gives you a feel you are a local in Rome.

The only thing I can think of that I could say was not on point was some noise we could hear at night (I think it came from their boiler), it wasn't that loud but we could hear it, maybe for some light sleepers this could be an issue.
The staying was really alright at Villa Borghese, we enjoyed everything from the cleanliness and friendliness of the hosts (Svetlana was so helpful and careful with all our requests and questions) to the fact that the bathroom was tidy and also the position was what we desired, especially that the Villa Borghese park was so close.

The shower would clog and not drain quickly. Other than that, the accommodations were great!
It was a great one night stay in Rome for us to head to the airport the next morning. The instructions were very clear and it was nice to see staff to help us resolve payment and answer any questions. They also arranged for a driver to take us to the airport. They also had free pastries and coffee.

The bed was ok when you first laid on it but as you slept it sunk in. The building was difficult to distinguish from outside. Once located easy to access.
The communication was impeccable as we were given clear check in instructions, check out went easy and the lady was friendly with a beautiful smile. The room was cleaned every day. No complaints! Coffee, fruit and wrapped pastries were available.
