How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

This Boutique Hotel is behond gorgeous. Nestled in a quiet place of Travestere, surrounded by a lively neighborhood. The bed was sublime. The best sleep we had in years. Great soft linen. Generous breakfast. Amazing spacious balcony with beautiful greenery. The staff were friendly and genuine, highly prepared to make anyone's stay unforgettable. They gave us great tips to visit the city. Without a doubt, a hotel to come back and highly recommend. Well done everyone!

The hotel was very pretty and well located in Trastavere area. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated and the breakfast was traditional and good.

Great location with lots of good restaurants in the area. Close proximity to central Rome and a good place to explore the city from. The Hotel also has a roof top bar (It's not got the view but I cute little space for a pre-drink). The hotel also has parking on site.

The breakfast was very good, although it would be nice to have a bit more variety, as the options were pretty much the same every day. I would also suggest that the hotel makes more use of the nearby market – it would be great to see more fresh vegetables available at breakfast. Everything was great – the staff were incredibly helpful, kind, and always smiling. The rooms were very clean, and the housekeeping was top-notch – thank you so much for that! We definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again. The location is fantastic! The neighborhood has a great atmosphere, and most major attractions are just a 30–40 minute walk away – perfect!

The room was perfectly comfortable: despite the intense heat outside, the temperature indoors was perfect. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bath towels and robe were soft and lovely. The breakfast buffet was perfect for my needs and the staff were extremely courteous and helpful.

In first floor hallway there is shared WC, which doors is often open. Hence you sometimes you can smell it when passing by... The hotel should install self closing doors to avoid this smelly, but really not important issue.
This is small and cozy, modern luxurious hotel which is in really good location. We were staying here second time and it didn't let us down.

One of the main lights in the room seemed to be on a timer and kept switching itself off after about 3 minutes. A bit odd!

No coffee maker in room or turn down service in eve. Other places we stayed in Italy had complimentary drinks/bar tickets to use during the stay. And sweet snack waiting for us at bedtime. They went the extra. Water was not provided bottled in the room 24/7 complimentary. Items on the coffee tray never replenished. For the price of these small rooms we would have liked a few of the above extras to make a stay more like home. The bar staff was very anti American. That was surprising to us. So we just stayed away from him and the bar. Took our cocktails to another restaurant. Didn’t need to hear him rant about our great president. Unprofessional.
