Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Great location located near to all the main attraction, the property is on the ground floor, in case you have big suitcase, you don't have to worry of carrying the suitcase climbing up with the staircase. It is a quiet yet convenient location and the place is safe too. The AC and the wifi works perfectly which is another bonus point for the property. Bear in mind this property is a loft and it doesn't have any window but it don't really bother us so much.

New ZealandFantastic location!! Down a quiet residential street, just a few steps away from the Duomo! Ground floor. Well equipped and super clean. Quiet at night. So easy to go and see things, yet pop back for a bit, to rest up before heading out again. Close proximity to everything!!

United KingdomAlthough there was an iron, there was no ironing board. No mention was made in the check-in instructions that there is a light switch inside to the left of the door to the street. This would definitely be helpful for future visitors. We knew from previous reviews that it would be dark, so were very careful when entering, especially as there are steps down into the flat. We found the light switch later on our first day.
Perfect location, very close to the Duomo and other main attractions, restaurants, cafes, little supermarkets. also only a minute away from the nearest possible taxi drop-off location. Clean and comfortable and more spacious than expected. Very large and comfortable bed. The little kitchen is well-equipped and coffee capsules are provided for the machine. The washing machine (detergent was provided) and dryer are a huge advantage. The instructions leaflet contains tips for restaurants etc. Simone at the agency which looks after bookings was very responsive to all communications and it was possible for us to check-in slightly earlier. We would certainly use again if returning to Siena.

IrelandNot much to dislike. Due to its central location there are no windows and no outside terrace area to have a coffee etc. But you are not there to stay in the room, you are there to explore Sienna so those kind of amenities are not imortant for this kind of stay.
So much to like. Great location in centre of Sienna. We managed to grab a free parking space outside the city walls (8min walk to room) which was recommended by Host. Comfy bed, nice kitchen area, great shower, washing machine, big fridge. NIce and cool inside due to the thich stone walls. Just perfect for us. Would happily stay here again.

United StatesThe downstair sofa bed is not comfortable. It’s in a ZTL so you can’t even drop off your luggage at the apartment. You have to carry it from the parking area.
Great location, super close to everything. Nicely restored.

United StatesI adapted, but it’s unusual for a living space not to have one window. A bit like living in a cave. Lots of steps for a compact space. Upon arrival, there were no lights left on and without windows, the space was pitch black. Had to use my iPhone flashlight to find light switches. Learned later that there were switches in the entryway, but it was too dark to see them. Property manager really should leave a few lights on so guests don’t fall down the steps in the dark entryway. It would also help to include information about entryway light switches in the check-in instructions.
Location. In the heart of Siena, steps away from Piazza Il Campo and the Duomo complex. Very clean, secure, nicely furnished historic building . Someone put a lot of thought into making productive use of every inch of space.

United StatesUnfortunately, no windows, unless you open the front door to the street, which we did a couple of evenings. There were only four espresso pods, we would have liked 8 for our four night stay.
So close to the middle of everything. Very comfortable and quiet place for two. Nice little bar on the corner for caffe and pastries in the morning, about 10 meters from our door.

AustraliaThe instructions for the air conditioner were challenging, but it may been just me, and the fact we could only use appliance at a time ie: kettle or oven etc at a time, but small price to pay for such a nice unit.
Great location near the Doumo and Plaza de Campo with lots of restaurants and places to visit. We used it as a base for Tuscany for 6 nights and if was perfect. Being self contained meant we could buy local produce and cook a couple of meals which was great, highly recommend.

CyprusThere was not enough soap for the bathroom, it was enough for one person for one day. It did not have hand towels for the bathroom and kitchen.
It was spacious, had all the facilities that was needed. The location was perfect in a quiet road but at the same time in the city center.
