The property was in a great location close to tours to the Colosseum and the Vatican! Very clean room, comfortable, Host Andrea was very communicative and gave a lot of recommendations for restaurants and things to see. Breakfast every morning.

The host was very kind and helpful. The location was perfect; close enough to the Colosseum to walk but also in a quiet location. The facilities (room and restroom) were clean and comfortable to use. 10 out of 10 I would stay again and recommend it to friends traveling to Rome!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Pictures don’t do the space justice - had everything me needed and more! The breakfast drop off in a morning and fridge of goodies was such a great touch!!! Located literally down the road from the colosseum in such a great location. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and stay again.

We needed to go through a few doors to access our room.

My experience here was better than hotels. We had our own bathroom as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast was served to us and we also had a set of drawers.

The property was spotless and very comfortable, with everything we needed – a cosy double bed, single bed, private bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, just minutes from the Colosseum, with a lovely gelato shop and a full supermarket nearby. What really made the stay special was the host. He brought fresh bread and croissants each morning, provided amazing gluten-free snacks just for me, and had the fridge stocked with essentials like water, cheese, ham, and soft drinks. He was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and we later found out he’s a professional artist – one of his own beautiful paintings was hanging in the kitchen. Honestly, it felt like more than just a place to stay. It felt welcoming and personal.

this is a basement unit. Not an issue, but I felt it could have been communicated more clearly.

Best location and value for money - 10 minutes from the colosseum, 15 minutes from Roma termini and very convenient for public transport. But still quiet neighborhood. The staff were onsite and helped in many ways. The breakfast delivery was perfect addition to the stay and ensured we were energized for the day hikes.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was very cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is just perfect — right near the center, making it super easy to explore Rome on foot. No complaints or suggestions of improvement for Locanderia Roma. It was a great location, room and host!

Great location near the colosseum. Everything is walkable if you like- from a cafe around the corner, public transportation, Colosseum,Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps etc.. or about a 45 min walk to the Vatican. The property and host were wonderful! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Fridge was stocked with our breakfast items, plus a lot of bonus goodies and treats for us! AC was wonderful for the hot and humid summer :) Our host had wonderful and very quick communication. He helped me (a foreigner) a lot when I was driving and trying to navigate the city. :). He provided us with a lot of great suggestions and some non touristy dinner options. He allowed us to keep our luggage on site after we checked out. That allowed us more time to explore the city. He met us personally upon arrival and departure. He even gave us a thank you tote bag when we left. We would definitely stay there again!

Good afternoon, we were greeted by the wonderful Matteo with a warm and friendly welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the minibar was already included in the price, which was a lovely surprise. Housekeeping and restocking of the delicious treats were done every day with great care. The location is perfect — just a 10–15 minute walk to the Colosseum, from where you can easily explore the rest of Rome on foot. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay — it was an amazing experience! If we had to mention one tiny detail, it would be that the bed creaked a little — but everything else was absolutely great. Thank you for everything!

A little thing like a shelf in the shower would have been helpful for storage.

Our host was very accommodating, and the refrigerator had plenty of food and drinks. Also, the location was very good, with bus stop nearby to connect to many locations and a 10 minute walk to colloseum.
