The fact it is secluded was perfect. The view is amazing and it was very quiet. Very refreshing and very relaxing after long hours of driving. The staff was very welcoming. The room big enough for us 4, had very comfy mattresses. You can have diner as well so you don't need to move again. Breakfast has plenty of options. But oat or soy milk options would have been nice.

We first stayed here in 2022 and absolutely loved it. We knew we would definitely come back, and this week we did. Once again, it was a wonderful experience. The owner Tony is such a kind and friendly man, and we would like to thank him, his wife, and his daughter for taking such good care of us. The food is truly excellent – they serve traditional dishes, and everything, including the desserts, is homemade. A big thank you also to the kitchen staff for the delicious meals. The view is fantastic, the beds are very comfortable, and overall we had another amazing stay. We will definitely be coming back again!

The location and food are impeccable. The host is very helpfull and kind.

The only downside was the temperature in the rooms. Because of the heat in summer the rooms were hard to cool down at night (there is no ac)

We chose this hotel because other reviews said the restaurant was excellent. We weren’t disappointed and had a lovely meal that finished with sitting outside looking out at the stars. The host gave us a room with a balcony. The bed was comfortable. I worried we would need air conditioning but the air was fresh and slept really well. Breakfast was good. The host was excellent and kind to us throughout our stay

If you’re not an experienced driver, I wouldn’t recommend driving here yourself — the hotel is located on top of a mountain, and the road up is quite steep and challenging. The hotel owner is very hospitable, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. There’s even an outdoor hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the sunshine — super chill. When I booked, the website said it was the “last room available,” but after I arrived, I noticed there were only three rooms occupied, including mine — the rest were empty. I checked the website again, and it was still showing “last room available” 😜… Understandable though — it’s business, after all. Just be aware: check-in is required before 7:00 PM, and check-out is before 10:00 AM. So if you’re planning to sleep in, that’s probably not going to happen.

I eated too much

The view of mountains on both sides was fantastic. The room was very pleasant. We were lucky it was not hot, be aware there is no AC there.

I bought a room with a hot tub included. Upon arrival, I was told that it broke the day before. Given that I booked a room last minute, why wasn’t I informed about a broken hot tub? It was among the top reasons for us to come that far up the mountains. I would choose a different place if I knew that the hot tub is broken. I treat it as cheating. Hosts should have either updated their Booking profile or called me to inform about a problem or offer a partial refund. Reception smelled heavily with cigars. Dinner was disappointing.

The hotel is really a supprise. We didn't expect it too much given the price is not high. It locates in one of the top of montains and the view from our room is so great. It is quiet all the time and that makes every guest a sweet sleep.

Loved the hotel, the restaurant and staff. Had two small issues that could be solved easily and did not ruin the experience. 1. The radiator was leaking and left a small puddle on our floor, when they cleaned our room in the morning they put towels down and it prevented the puddle during our stay. 2. The hot tub was not opened, I didn’t see any timeline on the posting about it being seasonal so I was a bit disappointed, so in the future I hope they clearly post the season timeline for the hot tub as it is advertised as having this during the time I stayed.

Simply amazing place to stay a couple days with you beloved one. Delicious food and cozy atmosphere! And absolutely stunning cat Hugo boss!

We had a beautiful one night stay in Il Rustichello. I would highly recommend. The room was lovely and comfortable. The view was incredible. We also have an amazing dinner. Our host was very welcoming.

Great location up the hill with plenty of parking. The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Can only recommend the restaurant with great homemade food.

The assortment of savory breakfast options was rather limited, but sweet were ample.

So, Advertising not correct when it says you’ll have a bath tube in your and no bath tube, I booked because I wanted to celebrate my birthday and I was really excited to use the Jacuzzi, but when I was there he said that it was out of season when in the package said that was available and multiples guest were complaining about the same, when I booked because of that but in compensation i could the sauna.

I loved my balcony, the bed; so comfortable and the staff. Really kind people who make you feel at home & answer all of your questions. Also give great tips! The friendliest I’ve ever had in Italy. Amazing view btw!
