It had all the ingredients to become a high-quality place. The Michelin star restaurant, the pool with panorama views, the building itself is in great shape and the location is splendid. The rooms themselves are a bit outdated, everything is super clean tho, bit that would definitely upgrade this place to a luxurious get-away.

The variety of gluten-free items at breakfast was limited, with no fresh bread or pastry the last day. The dinner service was a bit drawn out. They cleared the used plates from the table one at a time instead of taking one in each hand, and there was a lot of time between courses.

The lounge area was beautiful with the fireplace, wooden ceiling beams, comfy furniture, and beautiful views of the surrounding vinyards. It would have been nice to have any afternoon tea or aperitif there. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the bathrobe, slippers and brand-name soaps, and lotions. Lots of storage in the bathroom. We enjoyed the delicious white truffle dinner. I appreciated the variety of gluten-free options, beautifully presented.

Unfortunately the mattress was very uncomfortable Too soft for me and the pillow way too hard So I basically didn’t sleep , I have back problems and that didn’t help

There are a lot of lovely and personal details all over the property, but there were 2 things that fell short in my opinion: 1) Lipton tea for breakfast 2) service at the Michelin-starred restaurant is sub par (Food is delicious though).

No hotel services after 7 PM. Restaurant was closed 3 out of 4 nights and was not open for breakfast. So there was no warm breakfast offered. Only cold items and no eggs. Website says there is a bistro bit it was not open at all during our stay. No drinks or food or room service offered in the evening. No lunch or mid-day food offered.

There is no bar. The breakfast was very minimalistic. A place like this need a better breakfast. The photos on Booking.Com makes the facility to look better than in reality.

An excellent and very beautiful hotel with stunning views, a pool, and a Michelin-starred restaurant. Everything was spotless, every detail was thoughtfully designed, with vintage furniture and charming touches. The staff were polite and welcoming. When we arrived, it turned out that apart from us there was only one other couple staying, and they were away at the time. This made it feel as if we had the whole place to ourselves – which we actually loved. It was quiet and peaceful; we walked around, used the pool, played chess in a beautiful lounge, and admired the restaurant and the wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen as the food was being prepared. Breakfast was delicious, although compared to a very similar hotel we stayed at earlier, the selection was a bit smaller. But if you get the chance – make sure to try their hazelnut cream croissants, they are absolutely incredible!
