United KingdomThere is limited possibility to go out in the night. Hotel is in the middle of the mountain and there is no way to go down or up except very expensive ride up with the snowmobile.
Lo Stambecco had most amazing personel and it was a pleasure to stay there. The food and choice of it was good. We also enjoyed the spa area where we could use jacuzzi and sauna.

SwitzerlandSki/ boot room unheated and seemed unsecure. Too few staff (one reception, one bar) for volume of guests- as they can issue ski passes and serve the après ski snacks. Limited bar choice. Some 3rd floor rooms old and not well decorated (per friends staying as a group). Spa is a jacuzzi tub and sauna box, but only 2 pax per 30 mins, so too small for volume.
Only a few steps from the arrival gondola, and true ski-in ski-out location in middle of Cervinia piste. Some bedrooms (2nd floor) had been updated, and amazing mountain view. Generous apres-ski snacks (free)

LuxembourgHotel was a bit dated, the reception staff could have been friendlier and more helpful/informative. Ski locker/boot area wasn't heated. The shower facilities were ok but in need of an update. The beds were a little narrow. Working out where to park in the resort was a bit of a mystery.
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Spa, was small and cosy and nice. It was on the slopes with excellent with excellent ski in and ski out.

Romania- insulation of the room it's not so good; but it's matter of luck of the neighbors; - a mini-refrigerator would be useful;
- the location : near Matterhorn(Cervinia-italian)-4478m , lake Goillet ( a trail around it's really worth it: beautiful views with mountains all around); cable car that has here a intermediate point to the maximum peak point of Europe - Klein Matterhorn(3883m); from Breuil-Cervinia(2000m) to Plan Maison(2550m), after to next intermediate station Laghi(2884m), next station Plateau Rosa(3500m) , here you cross the border to Switzerland and take the cable to Klein Matterhorn(3883m). - the station Plan Maison it's inside the hotel and the cable car ride from Breuil-Cervinia was free (for guests); - the personal was very friendly and helpful, on the 3 points that I intersect them: reception-restaurant-welness; many thanks for your kind hosting, really nice persons; - renovate room/bathroom(I liked that looks very good; nice view from the bed to Klein Matterhorn; - spa was exceeding our expectations: sauna/ jacuzzi but what I really like was the cold shower from the bucket above the shower-perfect; this was also included in the price, only need in the morning to put your room on a list; period was 30min; - because of the comments that I read were so-so, after having myself all the experiences described above, this hotel exceed my expectations, so definitely I recommend it(it's not high class, but the power of location boost over the fancy style that some persons want).

Very unique one of a kind experience. Loved it. Have to take a tram car up the mountain to the hotel. Scenery everywhere. Beautiful. Classic hotel. Nice rooms, great value, comfortable and good wifi. Will definitely stay again. Breakfast was perfect.

United KingdomFood was inconsistent, some days good but other days there really wasn't much choice, with no option to get food from town due to slopeside location. Place is very outdated, with rooms clean enough but pretty dingy and disappointing overall. Biggest issue was constant infestation of flies, as seen in the picture, coming back home after skiing to find 5+ flying around or dead on the bathroom floor
Perfect location as only hotel on the slopes, although noting that it's not possible to go back down to the town once the gondola stops running. Food some nights was good, enjoyed the facilities with table tennis table and sauna room. Staff were great and always friendly
