Beautiful building in a very cute village. Looks like you’re in an Italian movie.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel in a tiny Tuscan village. Everything was just right — from the charming details in the rooms to the beautiful, peaceful setting all around. It felt like the perfect little escape from the busy world. The village was super quiet and relaxing, and the views of the countryside were amazing. The staff were friendly and made us feel at home without being in the way. We loved having our morning coffee on the terrace, soaking up the calm vibe. If you’re looking for a simple, beautiful, and peaceful place to stay in Tuscany, this hotel is definitely worth it!

It might just be the best place I’ve ever stayed in, and for sure, one, which I want to revisit. For starters, Montescudaio is the most charming village, with a vibrant local community but also with stylish restaurants, such as Saqua, starred Michelin 2024. Then, the sea is only 15 minutes away by car, the Blue Flag beach of Cecina. If you feel like visiting, Lucca, San Gimignano and even Sienna are only 1 to 2 hours driving. However, the place itself is so beautiful, that we ended up simply enjoying the cool of the garden and the shaded room. The old palazzo became a world on its own, through the talent and endless attention to details of our hosts. There’s nothing I would change or add, the level of quality is at its highest everywhere, in design, choice of materials, flower vases, potpourri, or light fixtures. The bed and the linen sheets are amazingly comfortable, and the only reason you get out of bed in the morning is the perfectly cooked breakfast. Thank you for creating such a place and for having us!
