A dreamy countryside hotel in the middle of nowhere, the service, the views, the restaurant, the pool..everything was exceptional! We felt like at home from the moment we arrived. The room was really comfy, it is a really quiet place, so your sleep is an absolute 10/10! The food was SO delicious (and so is the wine!!). I definitely recommend staying there for lunches and dinners :). What we also loved was the tour of the winery. Beautiful experience! The signal and wifi were weak, which we actually hoped for so we could completely disconnect from the outside world :D, but I can imagine it could be a downside for someone, however, there’s nothing better than putting your phone down while you’re at such a place! Big thanks to all the hotel staff and also Carla at the winery. You truly made our stay one of a kind and we can’t wait to be back and see you all:)

Just to keep in mind that the place is very remote and isolated, which is a plus, but not so easy to reach by car (several km off road condition).

Fantastic peaceful place in the middle of the Chianti region with beautiful apartments, great pool area, very nice staff, good restaurant on site. Possibility for a wine tasting tour.

Although it comes with the location, but the path to the property is an unpaved road, not the best experience but hardly a reason not to come.

The location was a postcard. The pictures on their site are true to reality and breathtaking. The Staff was so helpful, attentive and made us feel so welcomed and papered. The food at the on site restaurant was exceptional. Their wine is delicious. There was wonderful day trips up to 60 min by car from the property.

The drive to the hotel was a little tough but nothing too difficult and a small price to pay for the quality.

Perfect. Stopped here for our first anniversary, Bartelo (hope I am spelling this right) put a candle in our tiramisu to celebrate and we have agreed to continue that as a small tradition. Helen was so lovely and friendly greeting us as soon as we got there and answering any questions we had helping every step of the way. Andrea the Chef - absolute talent. This man cooked our evening meals with precision and perfection thank you! Carla (hope I am spelling this one right too) our host at the vineyard tour spoke amazing English, explaining in detail the process of their wine making and the differences. Talking us through our wine tasting allowing us to taste the slight differences in grape and process and had real care and attention to us making our experience the best we have had. The place itself is set surrounded by rolling hills full of fields of vines and trees, the sound of birds chirping at all times of the day just completes the atmosphere. The room was amazing so big with a comfy bed and the shower was amazing! The shower gel provided is amazing and made us search for one for home. The body lotion provided too makes your skin so soft. Overall I cannot fault this stay!

Non potable water, a liter was provided every day. Since my family was joining us on the weekend the winery tour wasn’t available for us. I believe it’s only available Monday through Friday.

The setting is beautiful! it was a peaceful, relaxing place to stay. It is an intimate setting and perfect for our family gathering. My daughter and son-in-law joined us on the weekend with their two-year-old daughter, and the staff could not have been friendlier. They truly went out of their way to make us all feel welcome.

The only thing I would suggest would be some snack type foods available for those who would like something between the meal times. There was no where to get those type of items. It is a drive to nearest pharmacy as well - as my husband made the drive to pick up medications for me.

This is a beautiful setting in Tuscany. It is rather remote so you would definitely need a car. Unfortunately, I was sick while staying here and was unable to really appreciate all the property has to offer. The staff were kind and especially Paul who made separate meals for me to eat in room. My husband would dine alone and Paul was also kind and attentive to him as well. This is a beautiful working vineyard and offers a beautiful pool overlooking beautiful views. Perfect for couples wanting to be away from the crowds. We also especially loved how the flags of each guest representing their country had their flags flown at the entry gate. Nice touch.

*Very minor remarks, that we actually did not care too much about: outside areas could be kept a little cleaner, at some sunbeds the sunshields were broken, homemade jam would make breakfast even better

A beautiful location reached by a dusty road. Fantastic buildings and gorgeous big bedroom with an excellent bathroom. The shower is now on my list for home. There was much needed air conditioning. Food was lovely traditional Tuscan recipes which I loved. Great selection of wine from the vineyard and the cocktails were a treat. There are plenty of places to keep out if the sun and what I liked about that was the pool wasn’t the absolute focus of the hotel. The place is spotless and staff were really lovely

The breakfast could have been better for me. There were quite a lot of options but a lack of fresh fruit and plain yoghurt. Everywhere else we went on this trip we were offered melon and berries etc., but here it was just what looked like apples and pears diced up in a kind of juice - a bit school-y! But as I said, there were lots of other options, so catered for many tastes - just not mine. One other picky thing - the pool was quite small for the number of guests.

A beautiful place in a beautiful place! Peaceful, welcoming, wonderful view from the terrace where we had breakfast and dinner. Large room - clean and functional with a good bathroom.

There are tradeoffs but this was the type of experience we were looking for. We hit it on Saturday and Sunday and could not make the winery visit work.

The property is breathtaking. Room was spacious and had AC. Super convenient location for doing day trips and the nearby towns are lovely to visit. The winery tour and tasting was awesome as well. We will be back!

Phone service is a little tough. Long ride and remote, although it’s not as bad as people say. You cannot get anywhere without a car, the rental cars sell out, and taxis don’t like to come up the long road, so be sure to book fast. Only 11 rooms, so very peaceful and quiet. Staff is wonderful.

A few remarks on the dinner: Please provide a "menu of the day" instead of "a la carte". It will keep people staying for dinner more often. Please elaborate a bit more on the excellent wines the property has to offer during dinner.

Loved this place! The room was comfy and big. The pool is big enough to do some real swimming. Breakfast was great and the staff super friendly. We stayed for dinner once and it was great as well. Don't expect haute cuisine, but the ingredients were fresh and the staff again very friendly. You also have a nice view from the deck during dinner. Concerning the road: don't be put off by all the comments that the road is too difficult, it's just a bit dusty and bumpy. It's a bit like a gravel road in South-Africa: some potholes but nothing you can't do with a normal fwd car. For us the extra long driveway towards the hotel was part of the charm!
