Room was very small . I got what I paid for so can’t complain, but if you need a big room it may be an issue.

Staff members were super nice and helpful and even gifted me a bottle when I left. We’re there to assist with anything. View was also incredible both from room and breakfast which was fantastic.

Absolutely wonderful hotel, everyone was so welcoming. The gentleman on reception was exceptional (apologies we do not know your name) so helpful. Stunning location, breakfast was fantastic and rooms were immaculately clean. We would recommend to stay here and will return.

Very comfortable beds, big quiet room, fabulous view & position, great breakfast and above all the staff was really brilliant in a genuine kind way, very natural, friendly, smiling, patient and always looking for solutions (and finding them!). Not only at reception, but also in the restaurant and the persons cleaning the rooms. We had chaises longues on the beach in front of the hotel (just perfect) and a very nice lunch right by the beach. I’d go back without hesitation. Thank you for a brilliant stay!

This was the high point of our trip through the French and Italian Riviera. A charming 1920s hotel with spacious rooms, excellent decor and a perfect location next to the sandy beach of Alassio. The views from the rooms were glorious, the breakfasts were amazing, and the restaurant also serves a very good and reasonably priced dinner. All the hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful. Very much hope to visit again!

Our stay at the Lido was wonderful. The location on the beach is convenient to shops and restaurants. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Breakfast was full of varieties and we enjoyed dining on the patio. The only negative things I could say about the Lido would be that there wasn’t coffee in the room. And, only one machine at breakfast. The other thing was the beach chair seating was decided by the man we checked in with at the beach. Depending on your room, that was where you sat. On the second day I asked for the front row by the water. He wouldn’t let us, even though there were six available sets of chairs open all afternoon. I can only assume it’s because we only had a partial ocean view room? Anyway, very odd experience. Overall, a wonderful hotel and I would recommend a stay here!

To reach the elevator there are four or five steps, which makes it difficult with luggage, specially ours that were big because we were starting a 4 week tour by car.

Room was large and clean, with double patio doors to the balcony. View is straight out over the beach to the sea. We slept with doors open, but the blinds down, listening to the waves. Freshly made fruit salad was the best part of breakfast.
