SlovakiaWe did not try ski bus, but there was a stop nearby. For a skier wearing uncomfortable ski boots a ski bus or a taxi are the only options to get to ski lifts. It is not walking distance. But depends on your preferences...
Spatious rooms, bathrooms as well as the wellness area. There is a dry sauna, a turkish bath, jacuzzi and a relaxation room open 4,5h daily, no reservation needed and never overcrowded even at a peak hour. All perfectly clean. Rich breakfast. Very nice staff remembering your names and needs from minute one on, they feel like your friends. Big ski room with your own locker. Location all right for snowboarders as we did not mind an 8-min walk to the nearest ski lift (there is a shortcut). City centre 15mins walking away. This is a nice part of Livigno with beautiful views and we would definitely stay here again during our next visit.

The staff were all very friendly and amazing and they were very patient. The spa area was very relaxing and clean. Breakfast was good and the room was fantastic. The real standout for this stay was the spa area. Great area with hot tub, steam room and sauna. Provided robes and slippers too! The only down side is the spa is only open 2:30-7. I would come back for the spa!!

South AfricaThe blue bus line (that services this hotel's area) was a big disappointment... mainly due to its infrequency & unreliability (most times only every second scheduled blue bus arrived, and once passengers were stranded on route on the outskirts of town for about 20 minutes waiting for a change of driver...). BUT at least the hotel IS within walking distance of the ski slopes, and an enjoyable walk it is too.
Family-friendly, smallish and intimate hotel. Everything is brand new and the very best quality. ALL the staff are excellent (especially Maurizio): they make you feel very welcome and are very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally spacious and luxurious, the beds were very comfortable. We had no noise nuisance from elsewhere whatsoever. Beautiful views & surroundings, calm & tranquil setting. Food and wellness facilities were great. The best hotel-stay we've ever had!!!
