Fantastic for back packers, travellers, families etc - all round box ticker. Rooms are very hostel like but clean and fresh! Great breakfast & lovely welcome with a complimentary drink on arrival! Would recommend and stay again! Thank you for hosting me as a single parent with my son! We slept so well!

Mostly everything. Hostel was extremely clean and the staff were fantastic. Only 2 negatives, shower was extremely small making it very difficult to manoeuvre! Every time I turned around, I either knocked the shower off or adjusted the temperature, usually to scalding! I mentioned this on checkout and was assured the problem was being addressed. 2nd negative was air con. Now this may well not be the norm in Hostels, however, it’s only 2 years old and the temperature was 32dgs and was rising later in the week to 37dgs. Both of our 2 night stay I struggled to sleep. Overall, I would return at a later date, but the showers certainly would have to be sorted and hopefully, air con installed.

Unfortunately, the sound of the card scanning to open the door is very loud. It’s located a bit high up, the shops are not nearby, and it’s about a 20–25 minute walk to the lake.

It’s further from the train station than it seems with an uphill walk, suggest catching the bus from the station on a hot day as it stops right outside

Great hostel, all ages and types of traveller staying from family with young babies/children to active lone travellers. Good kitchen with area to eat and meet. Good food on site, breakfast great, reception staff super helpful.

The place is not near the station, 20 minutes walk but you can arrive with bus. I didn’t find the hair dryer in the room, maybe they have you can ask the property or you can take one from home.

A cute place for not only friends also family to stay. All stuffs are super nice! They provided good solutions to the lake and train station and prepared also the welcome drink, that’s sweet! The rooms are clean you can stay without hesitation. I strongly recommend.

i recommend to pack your earplugs as the doors to the room buzz quite loudly when someone enters the room

i had a wonderful stay here! the staff is kind and helpful, the rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. you have two lockers! one is under the bed and the other is separate. the breakfast is huge and filling! and i much appreciated the welcome drink :) 15 min walk to the city center and train station and about 45/50 min to the closest beach. you can refill your water for free and there is a big communal kitchen.

- When it's 37C outside, the passive ventilation system couldn't really keep the rooms cool. - Their account with Booking.com has been hacked. They can't do much about it but as a result I've been flooded by spam messages trying to get my credit card information. - When we open the windows, yes, it's noisy outside but then again there's no reason to expect it to be otherwise in a (sub)urban area like this.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We took a twin room, which in fact has 4 bunk beds, so it was very spacious for the 2 of us. The kitchen was clean, had what we needed, but didn't have a lot of utensils. Breakfast had a lot of variety and more than we could eat. We loved sitting outside on the folding chairs, in front of the ping pong table, watching the sun set over the mountain. Lovely base camp from which to explore Lecco and the lake and mountains. Many reviewers have mentioned that the hostel is quite far from the lake and downtown but we found that the buses 1, 4, 5, 7 worked well. Bus 1 stops right in front of the hostel and goes to the train station. The stop for bus 5 that takes you up to the cable car station is 10 minutes walk. There's a huge supermarket at that stop. Buses 4 and 7 also stop there and there are stops closer to the hostel.

There were limited options for food allergies/dietary requirements included in the breakfast. Aircon would also be a great addition, as we kept the windows open at night to try and cool the room, however the street noise in doing so was hard to sleep with. But overall I loved my stay and would very happily stay again!

The staff were so friendly, efficient and ready to help with any concerns or suggestions for what to do in Lecco. The room was large and clean, great locker space and the beds were comfy! Loved that towels and shower gel was included too.

No air conditioning in the room

Staying in this hostel was a pleasure. Clean, tidy, very friendly staff, plus restaurant, bar and co-working space and free water 24/7. Access by bus under the building itself or 20min walk from the centre. Ideal location a piece from the city centre. Very affordable for working and solo travellers. Good space to meet new people and enjoing time together. Special thanks to Nural for her precious assistance with guiding us about local areas.

For a modern place, you’d Hope there would be Air conditioning, which there was not. So if you go in the summer, bring a small portable fan and know you Will need it. And that it Will be hot. As mentioned by others, the door to the room makes a loud buzzing sound Every time it is opened. And in the summer, since there isn’t air conditioning, you’ll want to open the window and street noise is there to keep you company.

It is modern and new. Have kitchen facilities if you want to cook your own food. Work area for those wanting to work remotely. They also provide breakfast that does have good options as mentioned in lots of previous reviews I’ve read. Staff are friendly and helpful.
