How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Exceptional stay! Everything was perfect, from the warm welcome at check-in to the spotless room and great amenities. The location was ideal, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

A balcony and better view, but the location more than made up for this
The location and the cleanliness of the apartment. It had all the facilities we needed. The landlord (owner) was very helpful and suggested things to do.

Bed wasn’t comfortable.
Nice rooms with what was needed for comfort. Lift for luggage was helpful. Easy check-in. Amazing location. A/C was lovely on a hot day.

Property was clean and spacious. We arrived around the time we said we would and our room was ready. It was right above the street that leads up to the Ponte Vecchio. Water pressure was great. Has a small kitchenette with fridge, coffeemaker, utensils, cups, and bottle opener. Property was right next to the street of the Ponte Vecchio which would explain why you hear noise throughout the day and some parts of the night. If you don’t want noise, I would personally advise against staying here. Overall we liked the place and its location to everything. The cobble stone streets nearby are tough on the luggage so luckily we were able to route ourselves a different way to the train station

Shower door abit hard to close where some water can come out if not careful.
Perfecttttt location. I loved it. So easy to get around to different areas at good walking distance. Room had plenty of space for 2 people which was nice. Lots of natural light and was clean.

It was very hard to find otel from google maps. It should be edited to find easily.

There were some hairs in the table but I believe it’s not very visible. But in general it’s clean.
It’s a really big room. Comfy and convenient just right beside the river. Coffee machine and capsules are prepared. Shampoo and shower gels is available. I will recommend this place.

No washcloths and directions were incorrect it is on the 1st floor not 2nd. Minor details.
Close to everything, convenience and felt like home. Repeated visit to this location. Clean linens and clean property.

The room was amazing! Very clean, with great view. Location was unbeatable, right on Ponte Vecchio bridge. All the recommendations of restaurants and places to visit from the Host were really good. He was very helpful and kind and also let us stay behind the check out hours.

The apartment was absolutely as described. The balcony has wonderful views along Via Por Santa Maria and up towards Pont Vecchio bridge. The apartment is perfectly situated, with the best spot for breakfast being just around the corner.

Nothing much to add here, except perhaps that I wished the towels were changed more frequently as there was little space to dry the used ones.
With the Ponte Vecchio just round the corner, the apartment couldn’t be more central. All the major Florentine landmarks are at walking distance, as were the train station, shops and several excellent restaurants. Being so centrally located, the hustle and bustle of the city is part of the experience but the noise always quieted down by dinner time. Everything was clean and functional on arrival and I appreciate that the manager went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable stay.
