The staff was incredibly attentive and genuinely caring—we never felt like anything was missing during our stay. A special shoutout and heartfelt thank you to Carlo, who went above and beyond to take care of us. We booked a private dinner at their villa, and it turned out to be one of the best nights we’ve ever had. Carlo anticipated every need and made sure the evening was seamless. When my girlfriend realized she had forgotten her cardigan in the room, he immediately brought her a scarf so she could stay warm and comfortable. It would be very helpfull if the hotel would provide clearer information/directions to the property with a description and guidance of the best route to avoid the very bumpy, rutted road route especially during rain .

Only minor complaint we had was the Air Conditioning in the room wasn't great, so we slept with the window open to keep the room cool.

The breakfast was great. The restaurants on the property were also fantastic. We did an excursion at the winery onsite that was FANTASTIC. And of course with everything, first class views and service.

The hotel is stunning, truly feels like you’re in a fairy tale. Every single staff member is nice and is genuinely happy you are there and want you to have a great stay. The restaurants are to die for the views everything about this hotel is perfect. Would not change a single thing.

The structure is throughly renovated, which means it is very clean but also lacks a touch of authenticity. The concept is closer to an international, high-end boutique hotel than to an Italian equivalent and, indeed, it caters mostly to well-off, foreign jet-set members. Finding a balance between friendliness and spotlessness is never easy and an assessment of the result of a personal rather than general nature. The hotel seems to find itself at a cross-roads with real excellence close at hand and minor slip-ups still occurring occasionally. Though the overall impression remains extremely good, there exists margin for additional improvement, especially in terms of leadership by the top management. The approach to service is formal and the staff dress code is elegant. Proper account should however be taken of prevalent weather conditions in the region. In summer black jackets and ties should be replaced by light-coloured, linen garments that can be just as elegant, allow staff to feel more at ease and perform at their best.

We visited in August. In spite of this the place did not feel crowded and was incredibly quiet due to location, to the staff efforts and to the very good manners of most guests. The rooms were very clean and the premises exceptionally well kept. The staff were helpful and friendly without being intrusive. The facilities beautiful and easy to access. The atmosphere was ideal for relaxing in the stifling heat of August. The nights were peaceful, the only sound being that of crickets.
