Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

There was parking included but our hire car was a bit big. Not the fault of the property but people had parked across the road and we could get the car in. Luckily there was street parking available.
It was a great location for us. We parked the car and walked into Lecco and caught the train back out again. The appt was clean, well equipped and comfortable.

The only disadvantage is the distance from the city center, but if you have a car, that shouldn’t be a problem. We moved by bus – the bus stop is less than 5 minutes from the apartment.
The apartment we stayed in was very comfortable! Everything was of high quality. A very big plus for the aesthetics and cleanliness of the apartment. We are very satisfied. The apartment is equipped with all necessary equipment. The hostess is a very charming and friendly lady who is willing to help you and answer any question. We felt almost at home. The apartment is located in a good location – close to the train station (Lecco Maggianico), the bus stop (lines 1 and 7) and the free parking inside the property. Nearby are a bakery, a small supermarket and (a little further away) an Aldi (supermarket). We are very satisfied, both with the choice of the apartment in which we stayed, as well as with the city on Lake Como. Lecco is an ideal starting point for the most beautiful places on the lake. I recommend the beach of Malgrate which is located on the other side of the bridge. Hiking in the surrounding mountains is breathtaking! The center of Lecco is very cute. I am sure we will return to this place more than once. We highly recommend Le Case di Grazia and we want to thank you for your warm welcome!

I booked it for 3 persons. Since there’s only one bedroom in the apartment, the third person was supposed to sleep in the living room, but no cover/blanket or duvet was provided and it was very cold since in between seasons there’s no central heating but no alternative way of heating was provided such as AC or electric heater. Due to this all 3 persons had to sleep in one bed. Very disappointing.

I am very picky about beds and I slept so many places where the beds were very uncomfortable. Here I found the bed super comfy, which exceeded my expectation. Highly recommended!

Its a bit in a middle of nowhere, not much to see in a walking distance so best to choose this location when having a car.
Lovely property, all you may need for a couple of days, host very responsive and provided all required info.

Everything was perfect, we loved the place and we were sorry that we stayed only for one night. The only thing is that the gate is pretty narrow, so only a small car can come inside for the private parking
