How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There wasn’t much to do around there, but that’s no fault of the hotel.
Bed was really comfortabel. staff really friendly. Alessandro send me lots of restaurant options and was very thoughtful.

The only minor inconvenience was having to climb two flights of stairs without an elevator, but it wasn't a big issue for us.
We had a lovely stay in this pleasant, renovated, and authentic clean room located in the heart of Saturnia. The space was comfortable and offered plenty of storage, which made it easy to settle in. We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere, the short distance to the hot springs, and the convenience of having a reserved parking spot. The host was warm and welcoming, and kindly helped with our luggage, which we really appreciated. we would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

It was really cold and windy weather (January) and even with the AC it was a bit cold.

The bed was a little shaky, and when we asked for additional towels we were charged 3 Euro per towel.
Good value for money, and great location for Saturnia Terme, 1 km drive. The host was very helpful with information.

Loved everything
The town was exactly what we were looking for a small authentic Italian village. Location of hotel was perfect for dining, shopping , visiting pools and close to other towns. Mauro, our host, was so welcoming and helpful. A true Italian gentleman. This has been our favorite spot in 5 weeks travelling.

The service was great. We arrived a little late due a delay and the host waited for us. He was very friendly and explained everything about the room and the area. We could reach him everytime we needed. The room was clean, cool and had everything we needed.

The shower nozzle was broken. The hose attached to the shower head was dripping all of the water out so there was no pressure in the shower. It was likely isolated to our room. However, it is important to note. Since we had been to the sulfur baths all day, the shower was indispensable. So it was quite a disadvantage.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The host who welcomed us, Alessandro, was very welcoming. He was very helpful and provided answers to all of our questions.

Leave your drone at home people and just enjoy one of natures wonders Italian style 💪
Perfect location; charming small quiet borgo. Mauro is excellent attentive host makes you a part of his home; good recommendations for dining. Room was clean and well furnished with antique styles . Recommend to stay two nights and go to the springs 6-8 am (parking libero) and beat the crowds at the must experience Mulino Cascate.

Nothing. Lovely hotel
Location close to main square, easy parking, clean and great facilities. Spent the day at the springs and a lovely place to stay overnight in the main town which is a great place to stay

Mauro and his family were there for helping us with everything, parking at the terme, recommend the best restaurants, telling us about the best places to visit around Saturnia. Everything was excellent 👌. My partner and I felt lovely and welcoming in this place. Definitely we are highly recommended.

Carlo and Alessandro were so helpful and amazing! They both went out of their ways to make our stay so much more comfortable. The hotel itself was very comfortable and well situated in the center of Saturnia right next to restaurants and grocery stores. 10/10 great hotel!

The room smelled of smoke (they offered a room change,but the other room had no balcony).Wifi didn't work properly.The bed and pillows were hard.The room got little daylight.
My room had a balcony.The old furniture created a nice atmosphere.I could store my bicycle in the walled garden.
