Reviews of Larius Apartment - Como Lake View

We really enjoyed our stay! The hosts were very kind and hospitable. They informed us about the repair work on the railway tracks and offered to pick us up in their car in the neighboring town. The apartment was very clean. Take into consideration that this apartment is located in the upper part of the city, so it is about 20-30 minutes walk UP from the lake to get there. NB! Since this is Italy with a warm climate, be prepared for insects! Do not leave the balcony doors open for a long time, as insects (wasps, ants) can get into the apartment.

Everything was perfect! The hosts are the true gem of this place. They were so kind and even gave us a lift a few times since we didn’t have a car. <3 The apartment is close to the hiking trail (which was our main priority) and has a stunning lake view from the terrace. Absolutely beautiful! Thank you Giulia and Fabio!

We loved everything about the property. We were greeted by the lovely owners who showed us round and made us feel comfortable. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The balconies are great and views amazing. The bed is very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

The hosts Giulia and Fabio were so friendly and welcoming. When Giulia saw from the Passport that it was my wife's birthday during our stay she bought a birthday cake and brought it up to the apartment for my wife. The cake was lovely. The apartment itself was of good proportions, very clean and had an exceptional view over the lake. I would highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Mandello del Lario, superb.

Not a problem for us but some less fit people may find the location a struggle. However it's downhill into town and would be a short taxi ride back. For us the uphill location was a bonus for the views.

Beautiful location in the middle of a lovely village! Perfect spacious appartement with everything you need for a holiday. Easy to acces the lake, the station and the mountains for some lovely hikes. Highlights recommended. Also loooovely hosts who picked us up from the station on our first day, we felt very welcome !

The owners are super friendly, sending you the best wishes! They helped with parking the car, took care of everything, and we felt very comfortable. The cleanliness in the apartment was perfect, we felt like we were the first guests in these apartments. The view of Lake Como from the window was a delight to the eyes. We would definitely come back here again.

For those who have never driven a car in Italy, entering the driveway can be a bit tricky, but don’t worry, the owners will help if needed!

Completely new apartment with all the required amenities and stunningly beautiful view of the lake and the Alps. Spotlessly clean and run by a lovely and helpful couple living downstairs from the apartment.

Nothing to complain about really. Maybe the narrow winding streets of the town to get there, but has nothing to do with the apartment itself.

The view from the two balconies was amazing (one towards the lake and the other towards the mountain in the back) - the photos do not do the place enough justice. The apartment was very well equipped with a large bedroom and thorough and meticulously cleaned. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful - they gave us great advice on places to eat. The neighborhood is very quiet and the parking is right outside the building. The location is excellent - 20 min driving distance to Varenna, where ferries can take you to other places in Como (there is also a nearby train station). Highly recommended!

The apartment is large, clean and very well equipped. Great view from the balcony. The host is very friendly and helpful.

If I could give more than 10/10 I would. Owners are absolutely amazing and very friendly and they've picked us up from train station without us even asking for it, they've asked us do we need a lift. House is very beautiful, very well equiped with all facilities you need and everything is new. I've been staying in many places but I've never seen a place so clean, it was spotless. Place have a few balconies and the views are breathtaking. My girlfriend is very picky when it comes to hotels and apartments and she absolutely loved the place. Thank you for having us and we hope to see you again.

There's a few minute walk up the hill if you don't have a car, but i guess that's the price for a beatiful view and it's a small price to pay :)

The location was excellent. Just a 20 minute walk into town for a coffee, restaurants or swim. Fabulous hosts Giulia and Fabio, gave us a through walk through of the apartment, with instructions on how to use appliances ect.. The washing machine came in very handy. The view of the lake from the balcony is breathtaking for evening dinner and drinks.

It was just beautiful, no other words can describe it. The view was amazing, and Giulia and Fabio are so warm and welcoming. They picked us up in their car when we missed the last train, and to save us walking back in the rain down some mainstream roads. Truly lovely people and a truly lovely stay. I cannot recommend any more highly!

Very spacious apartment with breathtaking view on the lake and mountains. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We arrived much later in the evening than the check in time but that was no problem for Gulia and Fabio to welcome us with a big smile. We appreciate the welcome plate with different kinds of tea and coffee they prepared for us. The apartment is completely new, decorated with style. The kitchen is very well equipped with all utensils you might need (kettle, coffee machine, microwave, oven, induction cooker plate). Dishwasher soap and sponge. In the bathroom you have first aid kit, shampoo, shower gel, hairdryer, even the washing machine with liquid soap. The heating was excellent. Although we stayed on the beginning of May evenings were chill so they turned on the heating for us. In front of the house there is a free parking place provided for the guests which is a big plus since the parking around lake Como is mission impossible. Gulia was always ready to give us useful advices what to see, where to go, what to do. I don't have enough words to thank them for their hospitality. We spent 7 days there feeling at home. If we ever come to lake Como again we won't bother to look for another accommodation. Apartment Larius will be our place again.

The location is perfect if you are coming by car.
