How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewThis was truly one of the most amazing stays we have ever had. The breakfast is absolutely phenomenal, fresh, locally, and beautifully prepared every morning. The house and rooms are wonderfully designed by Giovanni, with so much care and a unique artistic touch that makes the whole place feel truly special. The view is simply breathtaking, probably the most beautiful we have ever seen. Nicoletta and Giovanni are the kindest and most thoughtful hosts. Nicoletta does everything to make your stay perfect. She helps with restaurant reservations, gives great tips for places to visit, prepares amazing Aperitivo if you wish, and even puts together snack packages for your day trips. Giovanni has created a magical place with the Kerami, where you can fully relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. We left feeling completely recharged and full of unforgettable memories. Thank you so much, we truly hope to come back soon!
One thing to keep in mind is that the road to the property by car is quite winding and a bit of an adventure. If you enjoy driving, it’s no problem at all – and the route is absolutely worth it, as the Bed and Breakfast is located in a completely peaceful and quiet area. Also, make sure to check if the cable car is running. It takes you down to the town in just a few minutes, and you can leave your car parked up top. It’s a great and easy option, especially if you want to avoid the drive down.

Verified reviewSuch a beautiful place, and the view, even though it was a bit cloudy some of the days, was absolutely amazing. The host was the sweetest people and the breakfast was amazing, they were so caring about you. We loved to stay there. Only thing was that the cable wasn’t opened yet, and therefore we had to take the narrow roads, but Giovanni was so kind to offer to drive us down to the city. Will definitely come back!

More like a 5* Boutique Cabin Hotel and Spa in a quiet quaint mountain village location with Como Lake views to die for right from your bedroom. The rooms and building are a showcase of high end design with exquisite attention to detail in everything from art to decor to taps and door handles. The husband and wife team go way above and beyond to make your stay comfortable with heaps of local knowledge. The breakfast spread is a thing to behold in itself... tasty local seasonal produce made with love. You will leave this place refreshed and spiritually renewed. Como town is about a 30 minute drive with smaller towns like Argegno, Intelvi, and Lenno closer. Great hiking and biking options right on your doorstep.
Cable car from Pigra to Argegno only runs on weekends out of season - will need a car when it doesn't run. (This may change in 2025.)

We liked everything. Only advice to anyone driving there...take a small car and a lot of nerves and patience while driving through the narrow snake like roads. Otherwise it is all worth it once you get to the B&B.

Location was appalling, but otherwise you would not get the view, so tough titty. The road up to the b&b was not described accurately in their description. It was dangerous at best.
Dear Madame, about the position, Larium B&B is located at 1000 Mt high. It can be reached along an asphalted provincial road with good shelter; the road is also used by bus lines that connect PIGRA TO COMO. The road goes up from the lake so there are some curves but it is not a strange one marked as dangerous. By entering LARIUM on GOOGLE MAPS you get all the necessary indications for the route to follow to reach the B&B. Each guest is sent by the B&B a leaflet with information to reach it and with some tips about the area. In the B&B are available to guests an outdoor wooden tub with warm water (KIRAMI) lake sightseeing and an indoor sauna. They are both offered for free- use. In the afternoon tea, cakes, and pastries are at the disposal of our guests, as well in the evening, on-demand, an aperitive, and after dinner some homemade liquors and more. In the common living room, there is a freeze with water and juice fruit bottles for free use. I remember you used all these free-use extras. Best regards. Verified reviewThis is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at, and I travel quite a bit. The house is beautiful and the views are stunning. Even though we caught a bit of a cloudy lake como while here, it was still one of the most beautiful views. The rooms are fantastic, so modern and comfortable , and smell delicious!
The property itself is a dream. Nothing not to like about it. The only thing that was a bit scary was the drive up the mountain (at least for us who come from Florida, USA, the flattest place on earth haha). But it’s so worth it once you get to the top!

Verified reviewEverything! The view was breathtaking, the people were really nice and the breakfast was delicious. The room was super clean and it smelled nice as well. We felt very welcomed. The owners gave some really good suggestions on what to do and where to go. They even booked some reservations on behalf of us (because of the language barrier). Overall it was a pleasant experience, 10/10.

Verified reviewNice location with amazing view on Lake Como out of the window. Very clean, good design. Comfortable. Has a good sauna. We never managed to try the outside bath, since it was rainy all day long. Also they have a fire place. The hosts tried to be polite and helpful.
Was cold in rooms and the hosts were lowering down the heat levels even though we mentioned our preference of 22 C. The hosts sometimes were a bit too pushy with their ways of doing things and keeping the rooms we rented. Didn't really have much privacy and quietness as we wanted, felt some pressure from the hosts of constantly knocking on the door and explaining how things should be done. Received a lot of impractical advises just for the sake of advises and for showing the politeness. While we were taking sauna the host came to us three times to ask if we were already finished. Quite disturbing. We moved some design purposed things around inside our the rented room (e.g. opened books on the window sill thay were taking too much space) and asked not to clean the room since we wanted to have rest, however Immediately after we went out the cleaner entered the room and changed everything back, even moving our personal belongings. In general, it felt like the hosts were trying to be too helpful and polite and cautious but sometimes it just gives an opposite impression.
Dear guests, I would like to point out that we have kept the temperature at 19/20 degrees according to current Italian legislation. When guests are in the room they can change it as they please. About the sauna, I went down to check since it was occupied for three hours and I want to be sure everything was fine. Regarding the cleaning of the room, the maid knocked at 3 pm, and at your request to postpone, she returned at 5 pm. Room cleaning usually takes place between 11.30 am and 3.30 pm. I'm sorry if we inadvertently moved some of your items; unfortunately, sometimes it is necessary to guarantee a good cleaning of the room. I am sorry to note that your assessment of the staff is negative; I reminded you that I offered you an upgrade upon your arrival. I remember suggesting interesting places to visit. Best regards.
