It was perfect for our adventure. Wonderful location. 15 minute walk to ferry, 5 minute walk to half a dozen eateries. Very clean, all the kitchen supplies for making your Italian dinner ( bakery and store around the corner had all of the food supplies you could need for making dinner). Loved the view from the window- pleasant surprise.

Very modern stylish apartment with new furniture & fittings. Very clean. Beautiful lake views. Excellent location in the center of the village. Balcony/terrace. Very comfortable, easy to use large/super king size sofa bed.

Important to note: there is no bedroom, so you have to use the couch which becomes a double bed … but as all couch beds, it is not comfortable at all so be ready. Heating also does not work, we visited in November and it gets pretty cold at night

Perfect location in the centre of Varenna! The house is stunning, very bright and with a marvelous view of the lake. Recently renovated and furnished with everything you need to cook at home and spend even 1 week there

I would have liked a full length mirror. Although the bed was very comfy and large I wouldn’t have wanted to sleep on the sofa bed for more than a couple of night. Having said that I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was.

The location and property was fantastic. Lara was an attentive host and we felt like we could contact if there were any issues. There weren’t any. The views were stunning, the property was spacious and we had everything we needed.

I liked everything.

The view of Lake Como over the rooftops is excellent, and it is located just steps away from restaurants, shops and the Sentiere del Viandante. I love this apartment and how nicely appointed it is. It is modern yet comfortable. The shower has good pressure and hot water,, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen has any utensil you could need.. We received a wonderfully warm welcome from Lara. I will definitely go back to Lara's home if I get the chance!

Laras home was a great location to explore the areas of Lake Como. Handy to train and ferries. Place was fantastic. View of Lake Como. Had everything and more. Complimentary wine in fridge, plenty of coffee pods and biscuits etc for us. Comfy bed, apartment so clean and modern. Lara and her son were so helpful. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful place and view! Couch bed was surprisingly comfortable and the view was unreal. The AC was powerful as well and kept it always cool for us.

Amazing location, place was very clean and had a great view and amenities (especially washing machine and AC!). For a pullout couch, bed was surprisingly comfortable. Lara was kind and super responsive. Was great to have the option for a parking space right across the street, as well. Thank you Lara!

The host, Lara, was brilliant. Very open, friendly and checked on us to make sure we were comfortable. Facilities covered everything we could possibly need. There was the personal touch of a complimentary drink in the fridge. The location was brilliant for the local area and also for going to the other towns on the Lake. I got inspired to partake of my other pastime, photography.

This is the most beautiful , well set up apartment . Right in the centre of Varenna with gorgeous lake views from the apartment windows and the lovely little balcony. Outside the front door you are almost straight into the piazza, with a little bar for coffee, drinks, food etc next to the front door. The apartment is modern, spotlessly clean and everything is thought of. What makes this stay is the lovely host Lara who goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you need throughout the stay. Grazie Lara for our magnificent stay in Varenna!
