Some dust on the bunkbeds but nothing major. No AC so very warm in the night, but provided three fans for the room which was a good touch.

The views were amazing, I like that they provided towels, beds were comfortable and the rooms were generally clean. Close to amenities and the ferry/bus stop, also close to a supermarket with everything you could need. The other people staying were so friendly, generally very respectful and helpful

The facilities were purely maintained, no lights in the toilets etc, very tiny toilets and showers. There wasn't literally any place you could chill about your bed and at the restaurant which made you feel uncomfortable if you wasn't eating anything.

Nice views, location, parking and the restaurant was decent and affordable.

The room had no air conditioning, making summer nights that much hotter. It was warmer indoors than it was outside. The mattresses are not thick enough, but to be honest, staying in a hostel means you're unlikely to get quality sleep anyway.

Location - 3 mins walk to nearest bus stop and ferry. 5-10 mins walk to town square, restaurants, and promenade. Friendly and helpful staff.

There was no kitchen or fridge that we could use- there was an on sight restaurant which was very tasty but we struggled to keep costs down because of this

Shower space was tiny, kind of uncomfortable to move and almost no space to leave our stuff (clothes, towel, shower amenities). Living quarters (rooms and bathrooms) were not clean, partly because of the lack of cleanliness from other guests, but some of it was also lack of maintenance from the hostel.

The staff was incredible, always available and ready to help. The view was great, even on a rainy day. Didn't actually have anything from the restaurant, but just the possibility of having an all-day kitchen available is great, and the people I saw there seemed to be enjoying the food and service! Prices were good for a very touristy region. Really close to the ferries to other places around the lake (took a really enjoyable trip to Varenna, but there were other options, like Bellagio).

What you get is pretty minimal. The weather was hot and an AC would've been nice. Also a small shelf next each bed, or at least for the top bunks, would be nice to have. Bathroom stalls were very small.

The staff was nice and the restaurant has good food and a nice atmosphere. Have their own parking spaces.

They didn't pick up our phone, rarely check messages on booking.com. Also you cannot shower after 11:30 PM because of no reason, and if you use hairdryer during this time (pick hour because everyone comes to take a shower) electricity goes off and needs to be switched on again, felt like in a village a bit. There is no AC in the room which is why it gets very hot assuming 30°+ in Menaggio in June.

There was only one toilet on the floor, so I often had to wait. It was also noisy because of the restaurant, but earplugs helped — unfortunately, they are not provided by the hostel.

The hostel was located on a hill offering a unique view of the lake and the town. The beds were comfortable and equipped with everything necessary — a lamp, power outlet, and a locker for luggage. There was also a sink in the room. The staff was very friendly. The hostel itself has a restaurant, and both breakfast and dinner were available there — and the food was delicious.

I didn't like the size of the bathroom, very very small and uncomfortable. Shower also was very small, you couldn't move too much inside. Also I didn't like the fact that some roommate was smoking inside of the room, in the balcony, there was 2 people actually doing the same. I didn't like it because I don't smoke and I have problem with my breathing and also because it was very clear when you are booking the room in the website, they mentioned that the room are not for smoking.

I like the bed, the size of the room and the little balcony where you can see the lake view. The food of the restaurant for lunch/dinner was amazing. 😋

The costumer service, plus when you are traveling nr yourself people need help, they were not good about explaining some situations like how to get overcther, when and what time the bus come through, etc the answered it was, look google map etc

Quite a long bus ride from Como Dont run late buses last bus 8.20pm next bus 5.30am got caught once Taxi wanted 160euros for the journey back to the hostel

The check-in experience could have been a bit more welcoming — a smile from the staff (the tall guy with long hair - possibly the manager) would have made a nice first impression. The hostel has quite a few rules regarding food, drink, and other behavior in the rooms, restaurant, etc. They felt a bit strict at times.

Clean, basic rooms with a strong shower and a great location — overall, good value for money for Lake Como. The ferry terminal is just a 2-minute walk away, which is super convenient. There's also a nice bar and restaurant downstairs with a pleasant outdoor seating area.

I spent a weekend at Lake Como and absolutely loved the property. The location was breathtaking — waking up to views of the lake and mountains felt like a dream. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing escape from the city. Whether enjoying a morning coffee on the terrace or taking a short stroll to the water, everything about the stay felt effortless and special. I’d return in a heartbeat.

The bathroom door in our dorm couldn't lock properly. Also there wasn't a kitchen, which would have been nice to have.

Excellent location, just 5min walk from the ferry station in Menaggio, and around 15min walk into the town centre of Menaggio. Gorgeous views of the lake from my room!!! There is a restaurant in the hostel that serves meals at quite a reasonable price (for Lake Como standards). Hostel feels safe.

I didn't personally mind on this holiday, but be aware, for those of you who like to cook your own food, this hostel does not have a kitchen facility for self catering.

Really great view over lake Como and very central, friendly & helpful staff, a great cafe restaurant with good food (at good prices) where you can chill out and share a meal with fellow dorm mates
