The instructions for late arrival access wasn't the easiest to follow as we'd had 22hrs of flying and were tired. Several steps were involved, then had very steep steps, to first floor, no lift. Then, an outside verandah access to a room that had no number displayed. We are a bit older than many travellers, so getting 20kg bags upstairs wasn't easy at all. This was very frustrating for a 75 year old. We also found that the shower in our room was very small, with awkward access into it wasn't as safe as it should be.

Location was the key to us for access to the airport.

Easy walking distance to riverfront for excellent food and atmosphere. Hotel on quiet street and a coded locked gate. Coffee machine available 24/7.

Nothing, it was a great little pension style hotel.

Property is located in a quiet residential area close to restaurants along Lungotevere and was safe for a solo travel. Oscar at reception was very helpful and helped me up the stairs with my very heavy suitcase. He also had recommendations of where to eat and In ate Cielo which was delicious. When we got to my room he saw the emergency lighting wasn't working and fixed it immediately. Great, fast service. The beauty off this property is that it is located about 10km from Fiumicino airport so perfect for a stay before your flight. The property also has a airport shuttle that swings by and only costs 8 euro.

Great personel! English speaking (not so obvious in Italy). Close to the seashore and restaurants but also quiet and calm, so you can have some rest. Good quality for the price - nice level.

He hold my USA passport

All very well. What I didn't like was that he hold my passport and I had to call him to get it back to me and he denied that I had it. I had a lot of nerves. the rest went well

The room was a little dated and shower was very small.

Breakfast was good and accommodating. Good choices of cakes and yogurts with a coffee machine. Alessandra even asked if we wanted some cheese and ham which was nice. Some places include breakfast but there was a 9euro pp fee.

There was black mould in our bedroom around the air vent. We have multiple photos of this. More than one night's stay in this place would likely not be good for a traveller and, for the price we paid, we expected more. Location was also not fantastic. You are very dependent on ubers and the buses.

The breakfast was PHENOMENAL. Perfect! And our hostess for breakfast was such a sweet lady. I really liked her - she made you feel right at home.
