There was nothing I would change about my experience in this charming accommodation. Eliana was extremely attentive and nothing was a problem for her. She even told me I could call her at anytime of the day or night for any reason and I felt completely safe and very well looked after during the entirety of my stay. I extended my stay an additional night as a result and I would return to this place in a heartbeat!

Eliana, my hostess, was extremely personable and was with me every step of the way, calling, texting and then there on arrival to walk me through use of the numerous keys to access the appartment. For someone travelling alone, I found this very reassuring. The apartment was absolutely charming - very rustic and inkeeping with the era of the building. There were numerous windows with spectacular views over the city and harbour (you could see the big cruise ships when they were docked) and the lights at night were beautiful (the regular pulsing flash of the lighthouse was so special).

This is an apartment in an old tower right near the main square and surrounded by historic buildings. Also right next to the Church which had wonderful interiors. It is full of character and the apartment itself is furnished with colour and in the style of the building. Loved staying there and it is a great location - only 5 mins walk to the closest metro and taxis. It has the old alley ways behind it which leads to the seafront and aquarium which is about a 15 min walk. Would definitely stay there again. The apartment is reachable by lift which takes you up to the 3rd floor - after that which there are 2 small flights of stairs to the apartment which is in the tower. Elena was very helpful and said we could ring her if we needed anything. She took the trouble of showing us around the apartment and making sure we were happy with everything. It was useful to have the kitchen area and we even cooked some pasta while we were there. The kitchen could have done with some chopping knives and possibly another small cooking pan, but otherwise it was great.

only thing that i didnt like was the shower curtain for the bath was done in way that it was over the bath which didnt leave much room in the bath to actually wash without the curtain sticking to your body.

Excellent stay at beautifully fitted out apartment in a perfect location overlooking the Piazza del Ducale in the centro storico. Very gracious welcome by the owner Maria Eliana, an artist personally responsible for the extremely considered appointments of the four apartments. The top two apartments have amazing aspects - with views over both the piazza and the porto antico area of Genoa.

Views are sensational. Perfect central location. Peaceful nonetheless and away from street - high up! The lady Iliana was charming.

This wasn't a problem for us, but, though there was an elevator, there were also some steep stairs. Just something that certain travelers would need to be aware of. One suggestion we have would be to equip the kitchen with a toaster oven and/or microwave.

The location was excellent, truly walking distance to everything. The room was very comfortable and very cozy. The host was friendly and helpful. We had no issues, but she assured us that we could call her at any time if anything came up.

It was difficult to climb many steps we had to climb and haul our luggage up to reach our room so pack lightly. You will take a lift to the third floor and then climb another three flights. It took 4 different keys to access the building, elevator, hallways and then our room.

We loved staying in this historic tower. The views were amazing. The building is very old but full of character and charm. The room was clean and well equipped. Our host was very friendly and helpful.

It’s amazing!! Beautiful historical property. The views from the room are utterly stunning, has to be seen to be believed. Very comfortable bed and all we needed, and the host was wonderful and very helpful. Would absolutely recommend and would stay again one day when we have chance.

A charming old building from the 14th century. We lived at the top of the tower and the view was amazing and very central. The host, Eliana was incredibly kind, attentive and sweet and made sure we had a pleasant stay here.

The bus tickets were not sold when we got into the station and so we had to walk through an unfamiliar area at night with all our luggage.

A few too many keys (gates, elevators, doors) made going up and down a planned endeavor.

What views! Bell towers all around… way better than an annoying alarm clock at 8am. Windows on three sides of the room open for three days straight, ocean breezes passing through. No better way to experience the heart of the city… while still far enough above it to feel a refuge out of the fray.
