How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Traffic is noisy but you can't avoid that in Palermo!
A very well equipped apartment ideally situated for the main attractions in the city.

Very kmpressed with this apartment. It literally had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Rachele greeted us on arrival and explained how things worked and some places to visit Although self catering for breakfast the host provided enough of everything to keep us going for 4 days

Wifi can be excrutiatingly slow in the evenings.
Clean and spacious, kitchen was full of food which came in handy as I unfortunately fell ill during my stay. Location is a breezy walk away from lots of great sights and restaurants.

the lady rachele who welcomed me is very friendly and helpful. the apartment is very clean and well maintained. there is everything your heart desires, from towels to care products to breakfast. it is really highly recommended

Rachele,'s place was perfect. She was very responsive and helpful. It was in a great location walking distance to everything. She had cold water in the fridge and some food. I would highly recommend this place to future Travelers

Maybe there should be a better check after the previous clients, since we found some pieces of not so well cleaned kitchenware, but nothing horrible!
The apartment is really well equipped - truly just like your own vacation home! If you want to spend there only one night, it is okay, but you also could very well spend there the whole month - you find there washing machine, also with washing powder and softener, you can find everything you would need in the kitchen. And there is also a water purificator, so you don't need to buy packaged water! I´ve never rented an apartment so well equipped before. The host is really nice and helpful, we felt very welcomed. Also, the bed is super comfy. :)

central location, short walk to the cathedrale, parking in the street was no problem, very very good equipped appartment, name it - it is there, perfect breakfast with cheese, ham, eggs, etc. etc., big terrasse, I would stay here again. Whether you like the design is a different question.

Nothing.
Good location. Not far from restaurants. Very clean. Host was very nice and provided lots of filtered water, some food, milk, yoghurt. Bed was comfortable.

I guess alittle noisey sometimes with the traffic but with all the windows closed it was fine to sleep. Just something u have to except in a busy city.
The kitchen was very well equipped, the fridge and pantry was stocked with all the essentials like coffee, milk, butter, eggs, bacon and packaged pastries. Comfortable bed, big bathroom, nice terrace area.

About location: Really close to all tourist attractions, but not a very representative part of the city. About accommodation: This is a very good example of how the good business should be run. The hostess is extremely nice and extremely helpful.

Internet was quite slow, especially in the evening (most likely because many houses in the neighborhood share limited bandwith)
Great appartment with everything you could need, very new and clean, great host. Breakfast is provided in the room in form of coffee-pads and mostly sweet (croissants, jam etc.). The location is great to explore the city by foot (busy roads nearby, but with the windows closed it's quiet enough).

location is ok. we were in the heart of Palermo. a bit noisy outside, but not too bad overall. we had baby strollers, that we were required to carry on a second floor. no elevator. but apartment worth it.
the stuff is amazing!!! we arrived and found refrigeration full of food and amazing coffee machine. we felt that Rachele (owner) takes a real big deal care of her guests.
