One of the most magical hotels we've ever been to. The hotel's location is amazing, as it is only a short 15-minute walk to the center. The neighbourhood is full of cute cafes, bars, and restaurants, with a good nightlife as well. It's also close to some tourist attractions, such as the Boboli Gardens and the Pitti Palace. The check-in was very easy. The room was cleaned daily, and we received fresh towels and linen. The room itself was very spacious, and it had a large wardrobe too. Our room had an entrance to the shared terrace, which was still very private. The terrace was a great place to enjoy the coffee you could make for free in the living room. The parking was located in their sister hotel, Hotel Villa Betania, approximately 900m (15- to 20-minute walk) uphill. That being said, the luggage wasn't a problem because you can easily stop in front of the L'Antica Porta Boutique B&B, put the things in your room, and then drive to the parking. The directions on how to access the parking were very well explained, and easy to understand. We'll definitely be staying here the next time we come to Florence. 10/10 :)

Wi-Fi did not work well. The queen bed was two twins pushed together, so there was a bit of an uncomfortable wedge in the middle.

The only downside was the internet—it could definitely be better.

Door with adjoining room not insulated and we could hear the conversation. Thankfully the neighbors were quiet people like us.

Great location, outside of the hustle bustle but short walk to it all! Good recommendation for the Pizza place. Very nice shared living room and good sized bedroom. Terrace was an additional plus.

No breakfast options, although it is a bed and breakfast .....?? Our suite's bathroom was in need of serious upgrading and refurbishment- Bit of a letdown in comparison with the rest of the suite and general standard.

Our suite was spacious and elegantly decorated with high ceilings and frescos on the ceiling. The public area of the property was also very stylish decorated with a coffee machine in the library. The suites are located near the old port gate ...about 15 minutes' walk to the museums and restaurants and church. Parling at the sister hotel was very convenient .

It's called a 'b&b', but doesn't actually have any breakfast available. It didn't bother me particularly, as Italian breakfast isn't my favourite. But remember when booking that one of the 'b's in 'b&b' is missing!

Such a cute little tucked away place, right on the edge of town, in a great area. Free parking available at the sister hotel (though that's a long hill to walk up and down!), and the atmosphere of the property was gorgeous.

The only negative thing was that it was located a bit far from the city center on a kind of busy road so it could be a little noisy in case you are a light sleeper.

The room was beautifully decorated, exactly as shown in the pictures. Really clean and comfortable. The instructions for checking in and checking out were clear. Really close to palazzo pitti and the boboli gardens.

Cozy old building to stay in Florence, everything was just wonderful! We really got everything we needed there. The location is also great - it took us 15-20 min to get to Ponte Vecchio by foot, 2 minutes to Boboli Garden, nearby few bus stops to get anywhere really quick.

The room is very big and clean and the decoration really goes with the vibe of the city. The staff and very responsive and helpful，they‘ve always try to respond to my messages quickly which is quite reassuring. The location is convenient as well maybe 15-20 minutes walk to main tourist spots. If I come back to Florence in the future I will definitely choose here again！
