This hotel is a gem in Positano, the location is perfect the room is beautiful, the view from the terrace is the best you can get in Positano. Francisca and her sisters treated us like family, taking care of us everyday. We will definitely make this location as our home in Positano. Grazie Mille Francisca.

Exceptionally clean! Staff are very polite and accommodating, felt like I was seeing family with how they treated us! Also in the most amazing location, I found the pictures online of the room did not do it justice!! Soo much better than i expected!! Also the rooms are blackout at night. I was also concerned about the bathroom situation but the bathroom is private and directly across from your room, out of all my travels this was by far the most clean bathroom and the best water presser. Everything about this place was perfect.

Probably an electric kettle in the room but I didn't ask for it so I don't know if they would provide it 😅 beside from that, everything was perfect!

La Tavolozza Residence is near the touristy shops and some quiet cafe/restaurant. It is quiet and in my opinion an ideal place to spend time with your partner and have a romantic quality time. They keep the rooms clean as they tidy it up every day which is really good. The beds were a bit small but I had no problem sleeping like a baby 😂 You have to walk going up which is like a little hike but it is so good for your body so I didn't have any problem with that too. Great view from balcony 😍 you can drink nice wine out there and just chill. We were so happy with our stay and will definitely stay here again next time in Positano! The Staff are also very kind! Very approachable if you have any questions or anything you need 😊

Our room was on the lowest level of three or four tears, so we had a nice little balcony that was on our own, but only a small peekaboo view of the ocean. That said, it was also very quiet and very private back there so it was enjoyable.

The staff was so sweet and so accommodating, and the place was spotlessly clean. In addition, it was close to the heart of the city, right where we wanted to be.

La Tavolozza is a fabulous place to immerse yourself in Positano. This family run accommodation is ideally placed in the centre of Positano with close access to restaurants, buses, shopping and beach. We had a stunning balcony with amazing views of Positano. Francesca, Paula and Roberta were exceptional hosts, looking after our every need and made us feel like family. I thoroughly recommend La Tavalozza for an amazing Positano experience.

Location is superb. Close to the Main Street and 8’ from the port/main beach but at the same time very quiet. The view from our balcony was spectacular!! Worth every penny. The host was amazing, very polite and willing to assist us at every request. She even brought us wine glasses. Cleaning is happening every day and to the highest standards.

If you plan to spend time in Positano, La Tavolozza is where you want to stay. It’s located on the town’s “main street”, putting it close to shops, great restaurants, and views of the city from its position situated up the mountain that overlooks the sea. And it is only a few steps to a pedestrian walkway lined with shops that takes you down to the beach. It was a special treat to learn that La Tavolozza is a multigenerational family owned and run business. Franchesca, Paola, Roberta (two sisters and a cousin) run La Tavolozza from their heart. They care about you as a person, not as a tenant. They go out of their way to help make your stay in Positano the best it can be. For example, Paulo helped us arrange a trip to Pompei. And breakfast is delivered to your room, so you can sit and eat on your private balcony and ease into your day at a pace of your choosing. If you want to get a feel for the real Italy, stay here. It is not a sterile, corporate-managed operation. You will leave Positano with a smile and a bit of sadness because your time at La Tavolozza has ended.

La Tavolozza Residence is the perfect accommodation in Positano! The private balcony and THE VIEW are worth it alone, but you will be so impressed by the women who run this boutique hotel. They are so nice and will help answer any questions you have about Positano. It is pristinely clean. Our ferry out of Positano was canceled and they helped us to navigate the bus and trains to find an alternate route to our next destination. The detached bathroom is not a problem at all, it is directly across the hall from your room. Back to the view, we had our cappuccinos on the balcony every day and even had a pizza dinner one night. It's seriously unreal when you see it in person!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We booked somewhat last minute, so didn’t have any high expectations, and it really exceeded everything we had in mind. Paoula and her staff were amazing. The location is also perfect, a short six minute walk from the beach.

The property is in a great location with fantastic views of the sea. However, it is the family members that make this a wonderful place to stay. Francesca, Paola and Roberta keep their property, with old world charm, exceptionally clean and they provide personal services that set them apart from many others. They provided us breakfast service on our terrace daily, and a very nominal cost, it was excellent. They will also provided basic place setting items if you wish to enjoy a take out lunch or dinner on your terrace while looking at the sea. We enjoyed our and the family immensely,
