This accommodation was perfect for our stay in Scopello. A beautiful property with amazing views and pool area. Cafes and restaurants right oitside the door. The breakfast was great, and the staff were really helpful. Would definitely stay at this accommodation again.

On occasion the drains were quite smelly. I don’t think they can help it, I think it’s just the way the canals are done in the entire village and I thought it’s worth mentioning.

This was probably the nicest property in the vicinity, the room was spacious and clean, and very well equipped (I’m talking about robes, slippers, cosmetics etc) a beautiful garden with a pool and a lovely view. Breakfast was superb.

Check in process was a bit tricky. We hadn’t been warned about a car free zone near the hotel which we entered by mistake (and hopefully will not be fined for!) and it would have been helpful if the hotel had given us more help with finding their car park.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel La Tavernetta! The staff were incredibly caring and went out of their way to help me with a few issues during my trip — I truly appreciated their support. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a Smart TV and a beautiful sea view from the window, which made my stay even more special. The hotel’s restaurant also deserves a special mention — the food was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally professional and attentive. Highly recommended for a relaxing and worry-free stay!

Walking to the nearest town of Castellammare del Golfe isn’t a safe option as there’s only the one mountain road! So you rely on taxi or car hire as public transport is very infrequent (and doesn’t run the whole holiday season either!)

Scopello is such a quaint and beautiful village with friendly people. Situated on the top of a hill, It’s an ideal area to walk or simply relax around the pool. A small village but there’s plenty of choice of places to eat and the food is delicious! The local beach was well worth the climb up & down the hill as the water was clear, clean and pebbled - ideal for a refreshing swim.

The people were friendly and very hard working, as a team, to ensure everything was catered for. The pool was clean as were the sun lounger and chairs. We liked both restaurants, offering a selection of foods at different times. The rooms were immaculate and refreshed daily by a very dedicated team.
