Bed was little firm but that seems to be consistent across Italy so not necessarily property more Italy in general.

Property was located right across from the beach in the newer area of Monterosso. Short walk train station and old town. Recommend hotel, very clean and comfortable. We read some negative comments on the hotel but those were not our experience. We only were in the room the sleep and get ready between adventures. Perfect place to stay!

The bed was like sleeping on a box spring and the pillow was flat. Room was really tiny.

We loved the full balcony, A/C, and full breakfast. Location was all beach. If you want shopping and many of the restaurants, you had to walk 10 min. to the port side of Monterosso al mare.

Only thing to improve might be to create more space for luggage in rooms. But very minor considering all the other great things about this hotel.

Perfect location for visiting the Cinque Terre and enjoying a beach swim at the end of the day. Close to train station, in front of beaches. It was perfection. The staff were amazing and helpful, the breakfast was excellent. The air conditioning was a welcome addition. We arrived by car and for a smallish daily fee, you can reserve a spot, leave your car safely tucked away and explore by train, boat and on foot. I would 100% recommend this place.

It's a perfect place in all aspects. First, the location is exceptional; it's right on a beautiful beach with crystal-clear waters. The only minor detail is that you have to pay for beach chairs. Second, the staff is incredibly friendly and efficient. They responded to my emails very quickly and immediately resolved my issue when I needed an extra room at the last minute. Incredible! Third, the room itself is excellent, brand new and spotless, and the hotel's facilities are also absolutely stunning. Finally, the breakfast is PERFECT. It offers everything from scrambled eggs/bacon to croissants and 'crostata' (Italian tart). Everything was incredibly delicious – I just couldn't stop eating!

We booked this hotel last minute and did not have much expectation. However, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel entrance was right by the steps of the main beach which was super convenient! The room itself was very small and not sea facing because it was the only one available when we booked but it was very clean and definitely worth what we paid. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were super friendly and even offered beach towels and helped us book our train back! I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveller but try book early so you get the sea facing rooms which are also much bigger.

No comments -all was good!

We were very pleased with the room and front desk staff. We only booked one night and were given the top center balcony room that overlooked the sea. Room was clean and had lovely seaside decor, a small fridge and extra pillows. Shower had strong water pressure. It’s a 3 minute easy walk to the right of the train station. Breakfast has every option you could think of-we especially loved the eggs, fruit and muffins. We needed to store our bags the following day after checkout and that was easy to do. We will never forget the million dollar view! Definitely recommend this hotel!

The rooms were a bit small but so stylish! And I wasn't there to be in the room. It was also a little loud sometimes, but that's the flipside of being right next to the amazing boardwalk.

This is definitely the best two star hotel I've ever stayed at. The staff, especially Jasmine, were wonderful, so kind and helpful.

Ooh the price was high, but it is beachside. Coffee from the automatic machine not good. Went next door for a nice coffee.

All the staff - so friendly and helpful. Reception - special mention to Lara and Jasmine. Also gentleman on in evening excellent. The cleaning staff are excellent. Breakfast was good and staff helpful.

Perfect location, right next to the beach, nicely decorated room, spacious terrace in our room. New furniture, everything renovated- looks very nice. Such big breakfast variety- never seen anything like that in Italy. Very nice big inner yard to eat. You can't believe that it's 2 star hotel- worth much more.
