Little stone alleyways in the area are lovely and charming, but I have no sense of direction, so I had to take pictures of my route every time I left the apartment so I could find my way back!

Spello is a great base to explore by car / train the Umbria region. This property is very well equipped and decorated with a good kitchen, washroom. Its an easy 10 min walk to the train station, 10 min walk to large supermarket and overnight parking for our car was 3 mins away and cost less than EUR 1 per night as free parking fm 1800 h to 0800 h. Owner v responsive and helpful.

There is nothing negative about this place.

Everything about the apartment was great. Perfect location, just a few steps inside the gate and very close to easily accessed, free parking. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and places to grab breakfast (colazione). Monia was so helpful and made checking in a breeze. She sent us a video that led us from the parking lot, right to the front door. She also gave us a list of restaurants and several possibilities of itineraries for exploring the surrounding areas. The apartment was quiet, spacious, clean, and very updated. It even had A/C which makes me want to give it a 10+.

It was a bit cool at first until we learned how to warm the room. Spello itself, probably from any room demands a lot of walking up and down hills. It forced us to get in shape.

I loved being in spello. Being on a little street of shelters with low traffic and privacy. I loved walking into town slowly, casually without feeling part of a herd. The stone walls and the curtains on the windows to the street added comfort.

Great position with relatively easy access to the main street and shops, restaurants, etc. Monia was an excellent host and went out her way to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.

Host was extremely helpful. Free parking was close by (easy walk with luggage). The apartment was on the lower end of Spello, so we had to walk up hill for everything. All things considered it was a great location.

Absolutely everything about this stay was perfection especially our wonderful hostess Monia!! In the heart of gorgeous Spello we absolutely fell in love with this perfect little apartment, with the most comfortable bed, with two pillows each, lots of hot water perfect shower pressure and all the little things you might need to have a comfortable stay!! And Monia just went above and beyond she made our stay in Spello wonderful with her recommendations and her smiley disposition!! We would tell everyone to come stay here!!

We went for Spello because of what it was, an ancient Italian hilltop settlement. Given that, the roads are small and difficult for driving. We parked near the residence, walked in, and strolled around the town. Everything was easily reachable on foot. But you cannot easily drive right to the door to unload. For us it was not a problem, it for some it might be an issue. The owner Monia was VERY helpful with helping with our bags, getting us to the right parking lots, etc.

Immaculate and cheerful; tastefully, thoughtfully and comfortably decorated. It had everything we needed. A lovely space to spend time. It is a VERY old building that has been updated and restored, we loved the feel of it. But make no mistake, everything worked, it had every modern convenience. Spectacular stay, charming town!!!

Our stay at La Residenza Dei Cappuccini in Spello was wonderful. The location was perfect, living alongside local residents which gave us an authentic insight in to life in Spello. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.The location was brilliant as we were close to restaurants, local businesses and attractions. Our host was very friendly and helpful , giving recommendations about where to visit and eat in the village. A fabulous stay in a gorgeous setting.
