How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Breakfast items were not replenished, there was no more cheese and they said there was no more even we went to the breakfast at 7am.
Good location for those who need accommodation close to the airport. Friendly staff.

We had our window open and the road was quite noisy. It didn’t really affect our stay but we just wanted have some air in the room.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than expected. We used the airport shuttle which was a fair price and efficient.

Nothing that comes in mind
Room (for 1 person in my case) with all the necessary for my stay (2 nights). Good temperature in the room. Reception closing at 00.00, but possible to request keys if it would be necessary to enter after that time (not needed in my case). Breakfast available, even though I haven’t used as I had already plans. Perfect balance cost/quality. I would definitely come back.

The hotel is quite old and feels a bit run down. The staff is kind and helpful, but the hotel itself would really do with a makeover. There is also not much to do around, walking distance. Just a couple of eateries. It's the kind of place you would only go to sleep before a flight from Orio
Breakfast was good, but lacking fresh and savoury options. Very easy to reach Orio al Serio Airport.

It was a little away from the centre.
There was a good bus service which suited me. The staff were very friendly. The staff went out of their way to make sure that I could get to the train station when there was industrial action. Very good break.

Avoid using taxi from Bergamo train station. There is a bus number 8 that takes you close to the hotel

The hotel offers an absolute minimum standard they need to. Even the remote controls for TV or air condition are in plastic covers. The „breakfast” is a mistake. The only fresh thing you can get is the coffee.

The perfect location for those who have to spend the night near the airport. Very easy to reach, close to a lot of car rentals.. Very clean hotel, comfortable, the staff was very useful and well organized.

I was expecting more for my money. It is more two stars than three stars hotel. Long away from the city center. Breakfast was a joke.

Check in closes at 22.00 and for some reason it’s not possible to check in after that, even although the hotel reception is open until midnight ! This was an adrenaline rush for us as we landed at Bergamo airport at 20.20 , had to queue at car rental desk for a while and then find the car and direction to the hotel . We got to the hotel at 21.50 !
It was veru handy for stopping en route to our final destination. There is a fantastic sushi restaurant nect door to the hotel that was open until late . The guy at the reception didn’t speak any English but he was very friendly and managed to explain rules etc.

The pillow was not super comfortable, maybe it was just for me.
VERY nice and helpful administration! Clean room, enough fresh and extremely white towels for two people. Everything you need for shower, including hats. Warm and comfortable room. Very good coffee for breakfast. Also it was Easter, so we got blessed colored eggs, it was very nice!
