Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomFridge was a bit noisy, particularly noticeable at night, probably needs looking at
The room was a decent size, and facilities were quite good, particularly for the price I paid, when you consider the price of stays in or around Sorrento, it was certainly a lot cheaper than most. internet is a good connection, and their are continental breakfast in the room. Their is a nice very spacious balcony on the top floor, with a nice view and chairs, should you wish to go up and have a drink and watch a nice sunset. The couple who run the B&B are very nice people, and very helpful. Tip 1. if you are going to stay here, take the train from Naples centrale to Sant'Agnello, do not get the ferry from Naples to the port, the reason being the train from Naples centrale will drop you right at Sant'Angello station, and the B&B is about 5 minutes walk from there, if you get the ferry, it drops you at the port, and taxis from there to the B&B cost a fortune, I was quoted 30/40 euros and it's literally only 2 kilometres away, the train is a much better option. Also when you want to get into Sorrento from Sant'Angello station, it only costs euro 1.50 as it's one stop and literally takes about 4 minutes, or if you fancy the walk, it takes about 25 minutes. I would quite happily stay here again if visiting Sorrento Tip 2. if you need a supermarket for supplies, when you walk out of the apartment, turn immediately left, and their is a large Netto supermarket 3 minutes walk away.

New ZealandThere was a great rooftop terrace that we used for hanging out with drinks and simple food. The coffee machine was good. The bed was made every day and supplies were replenished. Located close to grocery stores, easy to get food a drinks, and there are several bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Close to the rail station.

PolandLa Piazza is a truly nice place to stay for a couple of days of holiday. The room was not big but there was everything that we needed! :) It's located in the center, so the way to the main station is super short, but there's no noise at the same time. The owner is a truly kind person :)

United StatesThere was nothing we didn’t like. We were in the twin room. The bath is right across the hall- not a problem. We were concerned about street noise, but the French doors to the windows kept it muffled. One thing to note, the shower is quite small, but it was fine for us.
My friend and I spent 5 nights at La Piazza. We used it as a base for visiting the archaeological sites on Naples Bay. Sant’ Agnello was a wonderful location, away from the bustle of Sorrento and more economical. And La Piazza was perfectly located less than 5 minutes from a small Circumvisuviana train station. No lines! There is also a great supermarket right down the street with fresh produce and a deli. Anna is an amazing host. She lives onsite and was there to greet us when we arrived. She is so generous and attentive! We were having trouble with the hot water, and it was fixed immediately. It was pouring rain on the day we had a tour of Pompeii, and she loaned us umbrellas. On the day we left my friend left her nightgown behind, and Anna tracked us down at the train station to return it.

AustraliaThe property opens straight onto the main street making it a bit difficult to enter and exit especially with luggage. When you put the provided address onto google maps it takes you to the wrong location.
The owner is super friendly. The room was very clean and in a good location. Was very handy having a fridge in the room and a supermarket around the corner.

LatviaYou don’t get a whole apartment but just a room (and a private bathroom). In our case the other guests that were staying at this apartment got pretty loud at night in the hallway. So the sound isolation could be a nice improvement.
I liked how close all the public transportation was, multiple restaurants as well as supermarket. The room was clean with very comfortable bed. We had a french balcony in our room. There is an option to go to a very big and nice terrace or to balcony to drink your morning coffee or just for enjoying the nice weather.

United KingdomThe property was 4 flights up and the lift only went as far as the 3rd floor with 2 short flights (largest was about 8 steps) to the 4th floor. which could be a problem for people with mobility problems. Not a problem for us but I felt it was worth mentioning for other visitors,
Diego and his family were so kind and helpful during our short comfortable stay. The location was excellent less than 5 minutes to the train station (1 stop into Sorrento for 1.15 Euro) and bustops. It was only a 25 minute stroll into Sorrento with it's ferries to Capri, Ischia and Positano. Sant Agnello had everything you would need shops, Post Office, Bars & Cafes etc., There were 2 supermarkets within 3 minutes of the property Netto, the largest was next door to the left, the other was to the right near the train station. The property also had a roof top terrace with seating from which you could see the sunset whilst enjoying a glass of wine or a leisurely breakfast (the ground floor of the building was a bakery/cake shop). A kettle in the room and a microwave and coffee machine outside our room in the hallway was also much appreciated.

United StatesThe door to the building is right by the main road where you can feel the car rushing behind you when opening the door and it's scary. You have to fight your way with the motorcycles because there's literally no sidewalk. There's an elevator which was great but you still have a few extra stairs to climb to get to the apartment so don't bring a heavy suitcase if you are not strong enough.
The Airbnb is conveniently located near a bus stop and train station, though I have to admit it's hard to understand the Italian bus system and the train station is under construction and you have to climb 3 flights of stairs to reach the platform so beware. The door to the Airbnb is located right on their main busy road and dragging my big suitcase was a bit scary. I was not able to find any signs to the building and luckily was helped by a local Italian lady who pointed me in the right direction because I already walked past the building. The doorbell has the Airbnb's name on it which I didn't know where to look. Once I found the building everything was all better. My host was wonderful and showed me around the house. I have 1 bedroom with 2beds to myself in a shared apartment and my bathroom is located outside the room in the hallway which is fine. My host cleans the bedroom and bathroom daily which is wonderful. She even offered to leave my suitcase and allowed me to stay in their living room until afternoon after I already checked out of the room. The room is nice and clean but close to a busy street so make sure you bring earplugs to sleep at night. This location is 1 stop way from Sorrento so there's less attractions around but I find it more peaceful as I am closer to local peoples'lives. I enjoyed local coffee shops and restaurants because the price is unbeatable. You can walk to the beach nearby and it's beautiful.
