Small thing, but would have liked a few tables with umbrellas up around pool. As some couples took over the covered spot for the day, leaving towels and a few procession there all day whether they were there or not, so no one else could use it.

The wind... But who can arrange for that?

I had one of the bungalows which I really enjoyed. Very quiet and very to yourself. The terrace, the pool, the honesty bar and also the wine tasting were very pleasent!!

Everything was excellent! The staff was very kind and friendly especially Sebastian who made sure that everything was perfect for us in every moment and the owner Starri did a great job by providing this villa with the real italian feeling that we could never find in any other area by now. The room was cleaned everyday, the towels we re changed if you wanted to, you will have a commune kitchen which you can use for everything you want, also the wine tonnomat is a really good shot. the space is very big and you have plenty of extra activites and also you have many spaces to relax in the area of the villa.

There are many wasps around the pool area, one of the guests got stung.

Lovely staff especially the receptionist. Loved the focus on local and organic food, the in house farm shop. Nice to see the owner actively participating too! The restaurant has very nice food, most of it unpastorised, raw and organic.

Our stay at VIN Hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The location, set beautifully in the hilltops of the Maremma region of Tuscany, was in peaceful surroundings overlooking forested valleys and charming villages in the distance. We stayed in the villa and enjoyed starlit evenings on the patio with the sounds of nature all around us. Starri, the owner, and the staff at VIN Hotel were amongst the friendliest, warmest and passionate people we have come across. We learned so much about the region’s foods and wines from them (would highly recommend the wine tastings!). Delicious breakfasts and dinners were enjoyed in the fabulous outdoor/indoor restaurant surrounded by amazing views. The relaxed and convivial atmosphere at the hotel was so nice - we met lovely people from all over. The standard and quality of service, rooms, common areas etc was excellent, everything is well designed and thought through by people who care. The hammock swing overlooking the valley was magical! We were in want of nothing and had the most splendid holiday, it goes without saying that we will be back! This is a truly special place, run by the most wonderful people!

Bee season so the pool had a lot of bees on the backside. Bu left me alone while I was swimming.

If you want to get away to solitude, this is the place. If you love wine and want to learn a little more about it, talk to the owner. Very clean and a good breakfast included.

You need to keep in mind that the property is located on a mountain which means it is cooler and quite a lot of wind. For example after a long day in Siena with 30degrees we would look forward to dip in the pool but sometimes by the time we got back it was +- 24 degrees with a cool wind which was, for us, too cool to relax by the pool. A windscreen or something similar would be a plus at the poolarea. But i am sure if you stay there when it’s hotter that it is absolutely perfect :)

Beautiful property up in the Tuscan mountains. We had a comfortable deluxe room. Big plus for us were the soft beds. The pool is a chill pool, perfect for relaxing. The restaurant was lovely as well.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The food is the best around, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Peace and quiet, away from everything, but at the same time everything you need in one place. Definitely happy that we found the perfect place to relax and we will be back soon. I recommend 100%

Being in quiet and peaceful surrounding - that is everything we needed on our first part of the vacation. Clean room, well maintained, comfy. Nice pool and outdoor fascilities. From the property you can go to a lot of small Tuscan towns and then return to the hotel and have a nice dinner and chill evening.

We love our stay - The owner was so welcoming and the hotel was just so well decorated, cozy and look after! The restaurant was delicious they have a farm to table concept and we loved it so we have dinners there every night. The hotel is in the mountains so you need a car to get there so have that into consideration. We totally recommend and we would come back

The hotel is beautiful, and has a high energy vibe that few hotels in the world share. You can feel at home. We spent some days for our honeymoon and Starri (owner) was exceptional with us. The restaurant is very high quality and delicious. Coming back soon!

We were surprised that restaurant was not open for lunch and dinner every day. There’s no where walking distance you can go and eat. Restaurant is closed on Monday. Where do people eat? It’s very remote, Massa Marittima is 30 minutes away. Tiny Montieri town has a coop and pizzeria was closed for a month. The drive through the mountains is challenging. We didn’t want to drive to look for food but had to.

It’s beautifully decorated, feels very boutique . Small hotel with lots of cosy areas to sit. Fireplace was on because it was cold and bar area was nice for self service. Great for couples and being away from the world literally on top of the mountain.
