The room is quite small, so if you have 2 people it would be tough to spread out your bags, but it was the cheapest place I could find in Rome and served its purpose. You need to buzz in to the property and I got a little lost finding the lobby. The lobby is on the first floor and the rooms are on the 3rd floor. As an American I read it was on the 4th floor and went up to floor 4 and couldn’t find it. Outside of that confusion, it was great.

The location is great. It’s in the heart of a very nice, quiet, and safe neighborhood with plenty to do in walking distance. It’s incredibly close to the Vatican and only takes a few minutes to walk to central Rome. Even the Colosseum is only a ~45min or so walk away but there is a bus and metro that takes you right there. The staff is very nice and helpful and communicative.

Nice guesthouse in nice, calm area. Big room with cooking facilities. The room was on the 3d floor, you can use an elevator. Just a few steps from the hotel is a Sitbus shuttle stop to the Fiumicino, a supermarket is just across the street. 10-15 minutes walk to the historical center (actually, Prati is also the center). But the most valuable gem in this hotel is Ovidio. A lot of help, including night taxi to the aiport. Ovidio, many-many thanks for your hospitality!

Water pressure sometimes was сhangeable, but if to wait a bit, it runs good. It can be a bit noisy outside in the morning, but it is Rome and we were happy to wake up early 😃

We came to Rome to celebrate my mum's birthday, we had an amazing stay in Maison de Marta. Rooms are located in a charming historical building in a beautiful Prati district, we enjoyed our walk from and back to hotel. All the places of interest are located within walking distance from this place, it is super convenient! Ovidio is a wonderful host who meets every guest so warmly and sincere. He gave us all the guidelines about the city, and there was a heartful surprise for my mum's birthday ❤ Rooms are very clean, cosy and warm! Beds and pillows are very comfy. There was a fridge in our room and all the toiletries. Room is small but very comfortable and we felt like at home. Thank you so much for a warm welcome to your city and hotel. We will come back 😊

NOT a complaint - just advice: it takes 1-2 minutes for hot water to reach the shower, just be patient.

The room was clean, stylish and cozy. The bed was comfy, as were the pillows. Daily cleaning was provided. Lots of helpful & unexpected amenities like shower gel and soap, tea, kettle, fridge, mineral water. Great location within walking distance to all major sites. Safe district. Super helpful and responsive host Ovidio. Supermarket in front of the entrance (helpful for a quick snack). I wasn't expecting a lot, but the place looks lovely (pictures don't do the justice) and I really enjoyed my stay there - much better than any hotels I've seen on Booking.com.

Location was perfect! I was able to walk everywhere. Ovidio was very helpful and attentive! Gave amazing recommendations. Room was cleaned everyday and mattress was amazing! I would definitely stay again!

It would be cosy to have a kettle in the room with morning tea or coffee but it was not a bad experience at all, given that there are some coffee shops with breakfast options in the area.

Our host was very very nice and helpful and the room was cleaned every day. Maison de Marta is located in a very good area, we had everything so close. If we go to Rome againt, for sure we would stay here. Thanks.

The guest house location was perfect, walkable distance to the main attractions, the bus stop is nearby in case if you don't feel like walking, and the shuttle to the fiumicino airport is right next to the door. The host, Ovidio was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay there.

The location is excellent, Ovidio is a great entrepreneur who helped me during my stay while providing city map, necessary details. It was good to realize that complimentary breakfast is included. Everything was pretty good. Thank you for welcoming me during my stay. If you are looking for a budget friendly option, this is the great choice :)

It was an old building, so whenever someone closes a door, you hear everything so if you are a light sleeper, might be a bit tricky. Also the plugs were old, it was difficult to keep my converter connected without it falling. Other than that, all was good!

Very welcoming and very helpful. Told us about the fireworks on the night we arrived snd free access to Vatican museums on the sunday. The room was clean and was everything we needed. Great location- grocery store opposite, shuttle bus stop outside the door and withi walking distance of Vatican and central Rome. Thankyou

First of all, the personel is always helpful and kind. The location of the hotel is really convenient, close to all monuments and there is even a bus stop next to it. Additionally, the room is cleaned every day and the hotel has a lift, which is a big pros.
