The location was amazing and we had a really nice room with a balcony. The host Claudio was an absolute delight, was very helpful and gave us great suggestions for restaurants nearby, and even joined us for a great evening of fun and entertainment. Would highly recommend a stay here.

La Magnolia is a terrific place to stay in sorrento . It is walking distance to all the favorite eating places and 10 minute walk down the stairs to where the marina is situated for all your boat trips . The WiFi in the room was also excellent . The host Claudio was also very helpful and gave us some good local tips where to eat and for things to do . A magnificent stay !

Not a bother for us but for most US people room is small and so is the shower. But as expected

Loved Claudio he's an excellent host. Room was clean and comfortable. The lighting is the bathroom was fantastic! The location was excellent for being close but just barely off the crazy busy area. We had a room with a terrace that was lovely to sit out and relax with coffee in the morning and read in the late afternoon. Claudio had great suggestions and could get us into the restaurant and beach in short notice. I'd stay here again.

On Main Street so can be a little noisy however I am a light sleeper. I believe there are other rooms in same building that are not on the main drag.

The only question for me was the acoustics, in the evening you hear everything. But mornings were quiet. Had to laugh at myself walking past the door a few times before finding. Full ten star experience regardless.

You are at the perfect location. Period. Quick walk to the old town, the lookouts, the seaside lift (and to the good food, or train/bus hub), but apart from the crowd. All clean and enough space (for me, at least). As a nice bonus, you can admire little traditional inlay designs on the doors. Obviously I completely agree with what everyone else is saying about the exuberant and very helpful host, Claudio.

Everything was wonderful. There is nothing needing changing.

The accommodation is very comfortable and the guest rooms and bathrooms are spacious. It is located 30 seconds from Piazza Tasso. You are in the middle of everything you need in Sorrento and when you return to your room it is quiet. You can walk to the accommodation from the train station easily. Our host Claudio was an added bonus giving us tips on where to eat authentic food, how to get authentic experiences and showing us around. You can walk to everything easily. You can make a coffee in the quaint lobby and enjoy a seat inside or outside on a common deck when you want, away from the bustle. The hotel is an intimate experience as it is family run with only 7 rooms. Very nice after a busy day to relax. We highly recommend staying here. We would definitely stay here again. Excellent value.

The hotel is in a perfect spot right where you want to be in Sorrento. Our room came with an outdoor patio which we spent part of the morning sitting on, it was quiet and private. What made the experience exceptional, was Claudio. He could not have been more helpful and caring about our stay. All of his recommendations were gold and he even personally took us around to some of his favorite spots. We highly recommend staying here!

La Magnolia would be perfect if it offered even a minimal breakfast. However, there are numerous cafes very nearby.

Beautifully outfitted boutique hotel, in the heart of Sorrento but incredibly quiet. Our charming host could not have been more helpful, including in suggesting restaurants. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay there again. The espresso coffee machine at reception was much appreciated.

It was all great!

Claudio our host made our stay into the most magical experience. He showed us all around to the non-touristy places and we truly found a dear friend. Perfect location in the town center. We had a room with a balcony that was delightful. I will never stay anywhere else when I return to Sorrento. I wish our time could have been longer there. So that means we will be back. Ciao!
