Maddalena has created an oasis of comfort and style, with all the modern conveniences in this ancient city of Matera. Parking and walking distance to the Sassi. Maddalena is a wonderful host. She went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. 💕🇮🇹🇨🇦

We loved everything. First we were greeted by the most wonderful host Maddalena. She was amazing. She even waited outside property to secure a free parking spot in front. This place was incredible. Location was perfect, a step from all the attractions in Matera. Maddalena even recommended to great tours with very low price. You have everything in this roomy and spotless clean property. The fastest Wifi, great kitchen, coffee machine, an wonderful comfortable mattress and pillows, beautiful bathroom, a fridge stoked with water and juice. Yummy breakfast treats. Maddalena made our stay feel better than home. She welcomed and treated us like family. When you come here you don’t want to leave. Amazing. Grazie mille!

Lovely place to have as a base while exploring Matera Really clean, amazing powerful hot shower, really comfortable bed, well equipped kitchenette with hob Lovely and quiet at night to get a good nights sleep A massive thank you to Maddalena who saved a parking spot right by the entrance on arrival and sent really helpful WhatsApp messages before and during our stay We had a fabulous time exploring Matera from this excellent location right next to the historic area and easy walk down to the park regionals to do the ravine walk and explore the caves on the hill opposite Matera and look back to see the amazing view We had a fabulous stay - thank you

Really kind host who went above and beyond for our stay! The location was excellent, and the studio/room was very well equipped. We appreciate that the host shared a detailed overview of the flat, and gave some great recommendations too! Highly recommend.

If I could put 20, I would do that. Perfect host, perfect home. Maddalena took care of everything-:she found a free parking place for us, welcomed with nice treats and bottle of wine. She gave us all the directions were to go in Matera. The whole place was newly renovated and stylish. It seems that every detail was fully thought of. And super location - just in front of the old town of Matera. If you want to explore Matera- you can't find better place to stay!

Staying at Maddalena’s apartment in Matera was an amazing experience. She greeted us with a coffee, let us store our bags early, and gave us great tips on what to see, where to eat, and even a discount for a guided tour. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with Italian pastries, fresh fruit, and a bottle of wine. The next morning, Maddalena went above and beyond by driving us to the bus station. Her hospitality made the trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Wow what an amazing place to stay. If you're looking for a beautiful stunning place central to all Matera has to offer then look no further. The accommodation is literally around the corner from the start of your sightseeing. The hosts go out of their way to provide you with everything you need. A full fridge, beautiful kitchen, bathroom and snacks, gifts and wine for your stay. They provide you with any information you need ....so beautiful and thoughtful place. Well done this is a credit to you ❤️❤️ Matera is magical and your place was the icing on the cake!

We loved everything. We got to know Maddalena who is very friendly, kind and generous. The place was well decorated and had everything you could think of. The location is very close to the center and to restaurants. Definitely will be coming back next time we visit Matera.

The appartment was perfect. Very charming and very clean it felt like being home.Situated in great location and easy to find all the attraction. And you can park just in front of the appartement free of charge Maddalena, the host was a wonderful person and ready to help you with everything you might need.
