This place truly is a little corner of paradise. The rooms—and the entire property—are beautifully furnished with great care and attention to detail. Breakfast in the garden was generous and felt like a magical, peaceful moment of pure relaxation. The location is perfect, immersed in total tranquility. Our stay at La Luna nel Pozzo was simply perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and elegance by Anna, the wonderful hostess whose kindness and attention to detail make this place truly special. Her home is as charming and graceful as she is: beautifully decorated, comfortable, and imbued with a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel completely at ease. We were traveling as a family—my husband, our 17-year-old son, and myself—and we felt right at home. The location is ideal for exploring the treasures of the region. We used it as a base for visiting Parma, Bologna, and the fascinating Ferrari museums in Modena. Every day, we returned happy to be able to relax in such a peaceful and elegant environment. We couldn't have asked for anything better. La Luna nel Pozzo is a little gem and Anna is a truly exceptional host. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for beauty, comfort, and sincere hospitality.

This was a quiet 2 bedroom apartment in an old country house in a quiet neighborhood about 5 km outside Parma. The apartment was spacious and quiet. The hosts were very welcoming and gracious. Breakfast on the patio was ample and included local specialties. We appreciated the hosts' recommendations on restaurants and parking in Parma. We appreciated the quiet rustic setting outside the bustle of the big city, yet the easy proximity.

Not a big issue but let me point out that you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the guest rooms.

Amazing breakfast (home baked breads, omelets, cereal, fresh fruit, juice) out on the patio. Patio was fantastic for setting out and having an afternoon drink. The house has so much history and wonderful paintings. I can say enough about Anna and Michael. They are absolutely incredible and welcoming hosts.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The place is so charming and the room was so comfortable. Anna makes the best chocolate cake and omelets for breakfast. Michele made us a fire in the fireplace so we can have an indoor picnic. They also have the two friendliest puppers if you ask them to be let out in the main yard to play with. Like staying with family.

The apartment we stayed in (the only one in the property) must have been a pleasant place to stay many years ago, but it seems it hasn't received proper maintenance in decades. Upon entering the apartment, you're greeted by a metal staircase and door... then the wooden floorboards, most of which are loose (some even lifted); the window shutters can’t be fully opened, with missing wooden parts and peeling paint; the electrical system is extremely outdated, as is the bathroom. An empty bottle of soap left in the shower (using unfinished items from previous clients might be fine, but an empty bottle is sad and shows total careless attention by the owner). In the kitchen, nearly everything is old and/or dirty. The dish rack is rusty. The bed creaks loudly at the slightest movement—far from being a comfortable place to sleep during your holidays. The sofa bed in the smaller room is just as uncomfortable. The only sign of maintenance is the tape left around the wooden beams after a coat of paint... sad. Truly sad is the state of neglect—and the fact that we paid such an unreasonably high price. The photos don't reflect the reality at all... it might be more honest to use recent pictures, without deceptive filters.

The apartment is located within an old rural house. We were not able to visit the rest of the property since we were staying in the first-floor apartment with a separate entrance, but judging by the reviews from other guests, I assume that the rest of the property (unfortunately not our apartment) was welcoming and well-maintained.

The staff was pleasant and let us use the shared kitchen. Our bathroom was private but was down a SHARED hallway which if we had known this is the place we'd never have booked it! Also breakfast was good only on the first day, after that no eggs nor any decent protein was served.

While it was not the fault of the owners due to the energy constrictions, the house was rather cold during our stay. Also, the house is really dated and would benefit from some renovations and updates. Also, the couch shown on the photos is not what is actually there- instead there are two old leather couches (one for 2 people and one for 1) that are very uncomfortable and are ripping and have been repaired and then covered over with stiff Berber material. It felt as though the furnishings were old (not in a nice vintage way) and just placed in the apartment. Again, the place was clean and the owners were nice, but it was disappointing to see the state of the interior because it was misleading from the photos online.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The sofa bed in the second bedroom was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped.
