La Fornace Di Racciano is one of the nicest places we have stayed in Tuscany! Comfortable room size for a family of 3. Clean and traditionally decorated. Amazing breakfast! Very close to San Gimignano by car only a few minutes. Hostesses very friendly - welcoming and helpful with directions and suggestions for our visit to San Gimignano and the close by Wine Tasting Experiences. We would definitely come back.

WOW. What a beautiful place with a stunning backdrop of San Gimignano. Family run place who will tell you of all the best restaurants. The restaurant just up the track is fine. We didn't walk into San Gimignano as it looked like the only route was via the road. I maybe wrong? Nice to dip our legs in the pool in the evening after exploring San Gimignano in 35 degrees heat. Breakfast was best we've ever had. Never had so much choice

Not a problem for us but there is no other option than to drive into town. Too far to walk and road not safe to walk along.. No local taxis it seems.

The grounds, staff, rooms, pool, dogs, breakfast, wine and aperitivo were all phenomenal. La Fornace Di Racciano was a dream, and we’d love to return someday.

You will need a car to get places- not walkable to town. There was a restaurant you could walk to a short way down the road but we never went there.

Beautifully maintained classic Tuscan villa with wonderful views of San Gimignano. Breakfast and pool were lovely. The family and staff were very friendly and accommodating.

A little more storage in the room would be nice because with four people you have many bags. Also a laundry facility would be so helpful. And for rooms that are for four people, having a mirror outside of the bathroom would be extremely helpful so that there is a way to do hair and makeup since the bathroom is often in use and four people trying to get ready at the same time. Shower was incredibly small but good water pressure and hot so doable just not super comfortable.

There wasn't much choice of restaurants around the hotel, which was expected. Had to go back to town in the evening for dinner.

The breakfast was wonderful with a great variety and superb local products. The grounds of the property are beautiful and serene with lovely views of town.

The best accommodation so far. Large space in the apartment, comfortable beds.. Very nicely decorated, cleanliness at a high level. The hosts are very accommodating and kind, the location of the facility is perfect. We will come again but for longer days :)

The room was designed for disabled people, so the bathroom sink was very low, and the toilet seat very high. The cleanliness wasn't great, but sufficient.
