i love natural light and my room was s bit dark, but apart from that, all was amazing.

the location was super good, close to everything yet secluded and quiet. the room was super comfy and clean. the host was super helpful. the voucher for the breakfast was for this very local patisserie with delicious options.

We are fit people we run etc but my husband is 79 and carrying the cases up the stairs was ok but needs to be considered as so the additional steps to roof garden - roof garden access probably not suitable for young children. Very minor points.

I loved the roof terrace that was private and only we used. Great central location.

Great facilities. Room appeared to have been recently updated. Kitchen facilities available for coffe and tea and a fridge. Good communication from host before and during stay. Didn’t get to meet them. Easy access to the sights of Lecce, only just outside the historic area.

There is nothing about property itself that we did not like. Note that parking might be bit diffucult to find during weekend but we managed all 4 nights to park just in front of apartment.

Everything was great. Clean, neat, everything you need is available in the room and in kitchen. From slippers, safe, big mirror in the room, great clean and big bathroom to the very nice kitchen and terrace, everything is just perfect. Host provided guidance where to go and what to see. Also, communication was fast and clear. Location cannot be more central if you want car access, it is just few minutes walking to all attractions and restaurants. Overall, big recomendations for La Fitolacca, thank you for being great host!

The place is in a quiet district close to both the city center and Lecce station. The staff gave me a very warm welcome and were always accessible via WhatsApp, which made communication incredibly easy. The room was super nice and impeccably clean, with all the facilities I needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

This B&B is exceptional and the best place I have stayed on my journey throughout the east coast . The facilities are excellent and more than I imagined. It’s spotlessly clean with a modern outlook . A well equipped kitchen if required. The rooftop terrace is a great respite place to relax in the sun with a washing machine for those on a long trip. I would have no hesitation . The location is beside all of the well known sights in Lecce. I have no hesitation recommending a stay here for both young and old . David

The friendly welcome from Eugenia and her quick responses to dealing with any issues e.g. booking an onward taxi transfer for us. Well stocked kitchen for coffee/snacks and also breakfast vouchers for the lively Cotognata Leccese cafe nearby. Historic town centre is a short walk away. Rooftop for sitting out.

Ok it's not in the heart of the city but really its no big deal given that in 5 mins you are at the edge of the city walls.

I booked this bed and breakfast quite quickly upon reading the reviews but did so in an indifferent manner thinking it was going to be nothing special. I was wrong. What i thought was going to be a "cheap" place ended up being one of the most meticulously kept bed and breakfast i've been to. And i have travelled alot. The cleanliness is shocking. Eugenie is a sweet woman without being to intrusive. The place itself has an ugly staircase haha - but then it immediately welcomes you with ....perfection. Harmonious perfection and super cleanliness. Ok it's not right in the centre but really it's circa 7 to 10 mins away. But the area is so decent and quiet. The sleeping room size is very decent. The possibility of having a coffee and some snacks throughout the day was really sweet. And what to say regarding the breakfast - wow it's one of the best cafe's of the city! an experience in itself. All in all value for money was simply brilliant - totally recommendable. And Lecce is lovely anyway.

Hardly any soundproofing. Husband slept well because of quiet street: I had to use earplugs, bit then again I am a light sleeper. Beware: b&b is on first floor and as eveywhere in Italy that means not very accessible...

Husband mentions good coffee first :-) We were also happy on almost all other aspects: very welcome early check in, easy communication via WhatsApp, Great and comfy room. Perfect location at the edge of the city center on a quiet street with streetside paid parking (using Easypark is easiest). Lot's of recommendations and great breakfast at nearby very Italian café / pasticceria. :-D Oh and great rooftop terrace with welcome washing machine.

Everything was Great!

From the moment I arrived it was Perfect. I was personally met & shown through the space. The location is Awesome, quiet & not too far from the centre. It is close to access laundry services & banks if you need which I did. Heaps of great restaurants & cafes nearby & if I needed anything all I had to do was message.

We were happy with everything.

A really nice and clean place located very centrally within a short walk to the old town. There is an entrance hall and kitchen for the use of all guests. 3 rooms in total are accessible from the same corridor. A roof top is available for the guests too. Coffee and pastries/biscuits were offered in the kitchen area at all times. Breakfast was in a typical Italian café close by. Usual Italian breakfast with a good coffee and a croissant/pastry or toast. Host was really nice and flexible.

A flyscree. in the bathroom would be good to prevent mosquitos coming in. changing 2 euro for a tea bag is excessive! The pillows were very hard.

Great cozy location with very clean rooms, friendly host that will help you with any info you might need. Located very close to the old city center with lots of restaurant options around. The bar where the breakfast is served offer Italian breakfast, so pastry and coffee and it has plenty of delicious options to choose from. Staff there is also very friendly. Be advised that it requires climbing a set of spiraled stairs to the first floor, which was no problem for me, but I guess it is good to know this detail. Very good value for money.
