Beautiful place, beautiful grounds, everything was exceptional

Pool side drinks were overly expensive. Drinks which we were having in the town at €5.50-€7.50 were being charged at €20. Likewise the restaurant whist good was overpriced.

Location was excellent, the hotel is exactly as it is presented on the website with a nice pool to enjoy at the end of a day sight seeing. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and an option for a la carte orders. Our room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast staff and reception staff were very friendly.

We booked two rooms for four people because the system didn’t allow us to select one room for all of us. Unfortunately, we were given rooms on different floors, which meant we had to split up—something very inconvenient since we were traveling with two young children and couldn’t leave them alone. Managing the luggage between the rooms was a mess. We asked to be moved, but the only solution offered was to add a bed using a sofa in one room and not use the second room, even though we had already paid for it. There seems to be a lack of proper planning in how rooms are assigned. One of the rooms even had a connecting door to another, which would have worked perfectly for us.

This property is exceptional in terms of design and facility and attention to detail. We stayed at two different high-end hotels in Puglia that were approximately the same price. However, La Fiermontina was truly unique. What makes the difference is that the staff is incredibly attentive and they they create a very family-like atmosphere while still maintaining a feeling of professionalism and high and hospitality.

BEAUTIFUL AND ELEGANT HOTEL IN THE HISTORIC CENTER BUT IN A QUIET SECTION. THE STAFF ARE WARM AND ATTENTIVE AND VERY HELPFUL - ESPECIALLY IN SECURING AMAZING DINNER RESERVATIONS AND EXCURSIONS. YOU CAN ALSO VISIT THEIR OTHER PROPERTY ALSO IN THE HISTORIC CENTER AND HAVE DRINKS AND WATCH THE SUNSET ON THEIR BEAUTIFUL ROOFTOP WHERE ATTENTIVE BAR TENDERS ENJOY MAKING DELICIOUS COCKTAILS. THERE IS ALSO A MUSEUM WITH THE STORY OF THE HOTEL- BEAUTIFULLY APPOINTED WITH AMAZING PIECES OF ART.

A la carte breakfast options were underwelming. Service around the pool area coud be improved.

Beautiful clean hotel, with an excelent location to visit Lecce. A 10 min walk to the main square, while being in a quiet street. Breakfast buffet was very good, lacking only some options for children.

Location in Lecce is perfect and hotel and surroundings very well looked after.Staff at this hotel were exceptional and happily assissted us with a small problem we had. Room was large and very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast well catered for and staff at breakfast very attentive. Although rather expensive, probably the best hotel we stayed in while in Puglia.

This property is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. It was on the level of hotels we stayed in for our honeymoon. The staff could not be more thoughtful, the food better, or the grounds more spectacular.

We had a so called junior suite which actually was a bedroom and bathroom. Not as advertised and very expensive.

The breakfast in the garden was memorable. The service was exceptional. They remembered how we liked our eggs cooked and that we liked toast. The breads, croissants, pastries were excellent.

Beautiful hotel , lovely staff , owner Antonia very personable and advises on day excursions. Very comfortable and relaxing rooms and outdoor areas . Food excellent. Perfect location to explore lovely Lecce
