Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PeruAs a light sleeper, I found that the building's proximity to the road resulted in occasional noise from passing cars, which sometimes woke me early in the morning. While the area isn't heavily trafficked, light sleepers might consider this when booking.(At least my room)
Beautiful room , very helpful host , clean , well equipped and nice breakfast

FranceThis is an outstanding place!!! We have rarely seen such a welcoming family in Europe. Maria speaks English and a bit of French. It's unlike many other very impersonal places where you only see the owner to get the keys and for the payment. Here if you speak a bit of Italian Daniele will spend some time with you, explaining whatever you need to know about Sicilia, the places to discover, etc. If you don't speak Italian, Maria will try to take a bit of her time to give you some information. The rooms are new and fully functional. Housekeeping is made everyday. You have a private parking place inside the property for free (see my picture) Very good breakfast and very good kitchen. There are 3 different plates every evening for dinner if you want to eat there, which is practical during bank holidays like Christmas because all restaurants are closed. Also they can cook for you earlier if you wish like 18:00 because Sicilians are all eating very late (never before 20:00) Depending on the room you choose you can have a view on the sea (15 minutes away by foot) and the mountain (see my picture) The surroundings are exceptionally beautiful. We made a complete tour of Sicilia and for us this is the most beautiful place of the whole island. Not far away you can make a two hour hike in a natural reserve. At 55 minutes by car there is the archeological site of Segestia which is a must see We plan to come back in the future with friends and family to stay one week to do some hiking and explore more surroundings.

PolandThe location of the La Dama B&B is really wonderful. In the quiet, small village, with an outstanding view. The place was PERFECTLY clean. Seriously, it was the cleanest place that we stayed in so far. Plus, the whole House and the garden are kept in such a good, useful style. You can take the sun umbrellas and some stuff when going to the beach. Free of charge. The owners are very helpful, really! Because of my fiancé’s bday we wanted to spend the morning on the beach, I talked to Maria and she was so nice to prepare us our breakfast in the boxes, so we could take it away with us. P.S. Maria’s every day baked pies were so delicious, nice touch to the breakfast!

AustraliaWe LOVED staying at this accommodation. It was absolutely amazing. I want to stress that I would stay at La Dama again even if nothing changed. I have 2 suggested improvements for the accommodation: * A kettle and cups for a cup of tea in the room for non-coffee drinkers who love a cup of tea after dinner or before bed or anytime * we didn't have too many insects but a wasp-looking one came into the room and also a large blowfly so, if possible, screens on the windows would be good.
Where do I start?!!! Maria and Daniel were incredible hosts. They open up their living area to the guests for breakfast and are always available for information or just for a chat. Nothing is too much trouble. They have a washing service if you need it (€10 per load at the time of writing). The room itself is outstanding; brand new and immaculately decorated, as is the whole house, with all new fittings. Our room had a view to the sea and that most spectacular rocky mountain rising up out of it. They have an absolutely gorgeous outdoor area with lots of tables and chairs and sun lounges. There is free and secure parking if you have a car which we did. We were close to the Cala Callazza, Spiagga di Macari and Caletta del Bue Marino. Literally 50 m down the street and across the main road. San Vito lo Capo was a 5-10 min drive away. There are amazing places to stop all along this beautiful bay/gulf and it is just breathtaking. There is a lookout above the Caletta where you can watch the sunset and even see the lights of Erice in the distance once the sun is gone. We did day trips to * Erice: this is an old historic town. We probably would have got more out of it with a bit more planning, a detailed map and/or a guided tour. We only stayed 2 hours and we were unlucky to get lots of high cloud which obscured views of the sprawling valleys 😥 * Segesta (awesome). Cheap at €6 per person. If you pay €8 it includes a bus ride up and down the hill to the amphitheatre and surrounding ruins. You can also walk up the hill but on a hot day it would be arduous if you are not fit. We took the bus 🙂. Note that the parthenon looking structure is accessible by foot. It is a tiny bit steep in places but you can also walk/rest under the shade of the trees along the side of the path/steps * the Towers of Skopello. Beautiful but go early to get your money's worth and have the sun shining in the spot throughout the day.
