Absolutely nothing everything exceeded our expectations. If we come back to Montepulciano we would definitely book here again. If I had to find anything constructive to say would be the table and chairs in the garden being metal have been affected by the weather. Maybe wood or rattan would make them more appealing to use.

Everything here was exceptional, the room is like a large suite. It was very clean, spotless. With the beams and arches it really felt authentic and made us feel part of this ancient town. The shower was so big and very clean and was lovely after a long day exploring. The host was excellent and quick with communication. Our complementary breakfast was at the best coffee shop, cappuccino was great with awesome views of valley. The location is great a few steps away from the main street going up through Montepulciano, close to shops and restaurants.We really can't recommend this place enough it really made our holiday special ❤️ Grazie! We wish the owners every success they deserve it.

Having to walk up the big hill to the accommodation but we managed!

The room was lovely with a garden view. The owner was great as at 11pm we got locked out by a guest who had locked the main gate in error. The owner came immediately and let us in.

I can’t think of anything we didn’t like!

This property was so ideal! It was within the fortress gates just a few steps from the shopping strip but down an alleyway so you also felt removed from it. The locations was absolute perfect, the suite very clean and SO unique - a perfect mix of old mixed with all the modern necessities you’re used to. The host, Marco, made it very easy and was always a text away if needed. The included breakfast was a short walk away and was so lovely that we ended up booking dinner reservations multiple nights during our stay. I would absolutely stay here again!

We loved the suite itself. Very large, clean, fabulous shower, well-appointed, direct access to the garden. There was also a small refrigerator and a hot water kettle. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was at a local cafe--excellent!

The wifi was too weak in the loft therefore we couldn’t connect to it.

The apartment we stayed in is designed more for couples getting away for a short escape. There are no kitchen/cooking, microwave, washing facilities for those that are travelling or want to stay for longer periods. To be fair to our hosts, this apartment was not designed for this. La Corte Secreta do have an apartment with kitchen etc that would suit extended stays - it just wasn't available when I booked.

Absolutely the most beautifully designed apartment set in the historic centre - so great location. The bed was quite comfortable and the room was very spacious. The host who live upstairs with their 3 children were also very helpful and friendly. It is a great place for a couple getting away for the weekend. We also loved the little turtles in the courtyard garden. We ate at some great restaurants, toured the historic places and visited the museum and did a wine tasting during our 3 days. Our accommodation came with breakfast vouchers at a great Cafe where we sat outside each morning in a small verandah with great views over the countryside and met new people each day.

Apartment is modern, spacious, well furnished and the location is perfect. It is in the city centre while being close to two parking areas (one in ZTL where you are allowed to enter after 8pm). Host was very friendly and left us with many useful tips regarding places to visit. Much appreciated!

This isn’t a hotel its basically run like an airbnb. The room they gave us was up a dark staircase, the light would take a while to turn on so we had to use our phones flashlights. The air conditioning was off when we arrived and even with it running all night it barely made the heat tolerable. We opened one window in the bathroom for a minute to take in the views and a good amount of mosquitos got inside and were eating us alive. The duvet on top of the bed was stained and i found a bug under the pillow. When we arrived we wanted to take a shower but the water wasn’t coming out of the faucets so we had to wait 20min for it to be started up and then there’s a time limit on how much hot water you can use. The wifi is also touch and go. We ended up canceling the rest of our stay and booked a true hotel in Florence. The host was nice but not the most helpful in making local suggestions or answering questions.

Odor in the entryway, uncomfortable (couch, bed, chairs), noisy birds every morning, outlet didnt seem secure to the wall. Door lock didn’t seem very secure.

Location was good and also close to parking.

We felt a bit misled by the beautiful photos of the property. There are two units at the location and the owner lives above. Our unit was the smaller unit, a room with double bed described as rustic decor with a garden view. I have posted a photo of the garden view. The foreground is littered in pet poop. The other main complaint was the state of the shower floor which is pretty grim with black mould. See 2nd posted image.

Great central and quiet location. Paid parking garage a block away. Nicely outfitted bathroom. Decent bed and linens.
