Our stay in Tuscany was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was perfectly located on the ground floor, offering stunning views of the rolling hills vineyards and easy access to nearby towns like Certaldo. The spacious living area and well-equipped kitchen made us feel right at home. We loved spending our mornings and evenings on the terrace, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The pool was a great bonus, especially during the quieter period at the end of May. The host, Claudia, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with excellent recommendations for local attractions and markets. The local market was a true hidden gem, with not only fruits and veggies but also the best cheeses, including delicious fresh ricotta (you need to try it!). We had an unforgettable time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Tuscany. This place has absolutely exceeded all our expectations. Also, thank you, Claudia! You went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful experience. We really hope to return to Certaldina one day.

The owner often complained to the children that they were too loud, even during the day when they played in the swimming pool.

Paid laundry is terribly inconvenient. If you live for several days, you have a pile of clothes to wash. First of all, the cost of one wash is 5 Euros, and if you, like all normal people, have white and colored clothes, you will spend at least 10 Euros, because there will be at least two washes. Some clothes cost less than washing them :-/ Secondly, there are no clothes dryers. You can wash it, but there is nowhere to dry it. We just took a free dryer, which is intended for a changeable bed in the apartment. An alternative is to go to Certaldo, where there is a washing machine and dryer for a fee, and spend half a day of time, which would be more logical to use for travel and rest. Thirdly, you have to run and check if the washing machine has finished washing. And so several times from apartment to laundry :-/ You can only wash in the evening because during the day you travel and rest. And in the evening, no one from the staff is there and you can't buy another token if something went wrong and it didn't work) And this happened with us. In short, paid laundry is extremely inconvenient and we saw this only in an old chalet in Switzerland. Today is 2023, not 1990, and 90% of accommodations on Booking.com have a free washing machine, such as dishes or a kettle. We did not reduce points for the apartment, but we hope owners will take into account this moment. Thank you.

Hy, we spent 7 days at this beautiful place. The arrival was adventurous, through a wonderful landscape.The apartment was equipped with everything necessary. Claudia was very helpful, friendly and always there for us. She gave us perfect tips about places to visit, restaurants, and where shopping is possible. La Certaldina is the perfect starting point to visit San Gimignano, Florence, Siena and other places. One on my highlights, was the Vespa Museum in Pontedera. (if you are intersted in Vespas ) Also the local menu, which was cooked for the guests, was fantastic and recommended to everyone, who loves the Tuscan cuisine. The house is beautiful as well as the interior of the room. We had a ground floor apartment with a terrace with a beautiful view of rolling Tuscan hills. The kitchen had all the needed amenities, even a dish washer. The apartment was clean and spacious with simple yet tasteful interior. The location is also perfect isolated but close to all Tuscan attractions

Our room was changed without notification nor advised on arrival. This venue expects you to purchase everything from toilet paper to salt. All you will receive is a towel - we had 1 for a 7 night stay. Pool towels, washing, fresh linen are extra costs. There are no bin bags, washing liquid or basic essentials. Mosquito nets have holes and bidet/ toilets were leaking. WiFi is incredibly slow and not reliable for business trips. And if you walk or talk after 11 you will receive a notice to be quiet.
