It can be difficult to drive into Assisi and park to off load luggage. We di park near the door but had to hurry as we blocked the narrow street! There is free parking outside the walls with a pleasant walk back!

Proximity to main Piazza. We could just amble into the town. The host. She was amazing and made certain we knew about the attractions. Always wished us a great day and was very friendly and obliging. Definitely would recommend her apartment.

Nothing! Only the Wifi could be a bit better.

Great location in historical center of Assisi. We loved it, especially the friendly host that gave us many recommendations and laughs and was always available. She made us feel welcomed and seen. It has a good common area with fresh and beautiful kitchen with coffee machine (kitchen not allowed to use fully due to regulations). Room was clean, affordable and in a historical building. Only two rooms which made it cozy and quiet during our stay.

Very neat, super comfortable bed, warm and cosy (we visited mid winter). The location is very central. Beatrice (host) was very friendly and helpful. We tried a number of her suggestions for dining out and they were all excellent.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Casina Colorata! Beatrice was so welcoming & kind and truly made us feel so at home here. Our room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The shower and bathroom was exceptional as well! We loved the common area and cooked a few meals in the kitchen + LOVED the tea & coffee station. The location is so central to everything in the city which makes it easy and fun to walk everywhere. We can't recommend this place enough!

It was the perfect place to stay in Assisi, close to the center of town and easy access to find everything we hoped to see!

There was nothing I would criticize about this property.

Shower was phenomenal,bed very comfortable, common sitting and kitchen area was a nice bonus and made us feel at home. Beatrice couldn't have been more helpful. We unexpectedly needed another night in Assisi and while she was booked, she graciously reached out to a friend and secured us a room. Beatrice was a fabulous host, it felt like she was more like a friend in a city far from home.

Everything was great!

Room was Charming, comfortable, spacious . Common area was also delightful. The owner, Beatrice, was very thoughtful to have coffee available to make at any time. There is a full kitchen guests can use as well with dining tables too. Everything about our stay was perfect! Beatrice even lined up our driver for us. His name is Poalo and he was wonderful too!

I am usually very honest and critical but am struggling to find anything I didn't like. It was too lovely. We really enjoyed our stay in this charming house and charming town. Perhaps it was a bit hard to find as streets of Assisi aren't straight and there was no lights on at night but giving the host a call helped us to find it easily.

The host is extremely nice, giving us tips for restaurants, parking and the bus. The place is very spacious and affordable. Comfortable with every amenity you could need. Shared kitchen with space for making coffee or tea was a Godsend in the cold Assisi weather as was the good insulation and heating. Also, the decor is so charming, as are many places in Assisi with the stone walls and wooden windows- but she has refurbished it to keep its ancient charm while feeling exceptionally modern in its cleanliness and functionality of the space. Eg new kitchen, bathroom feels clean. Thank you also for upgrading us to a larger room and helping us with a last minute request
