The smallest shower I have ever seen. Parking also not possible close by because it's in the middle of the old town. But very nice, they give a plate to park for free in the city during the stay

The main dislike was that the personell at the breakfast (which is at another location than the rooms) could not speak a word in English. Hence, it was not clear at all what is included in the breakfast. We got a two-sided menu in Italian: on one side a list with food, on the other side more or less the same list but with prices. Also, other tables had bread on the table we didn’t… we ended up having a croissant each and juice. I am sure there would have been more included. Then, as we were leaving early on last day we asked if it’s possible to get a croissant for take-away instead of regular breakfast.. unfortunately was not possible and the shops also closed before 7pm .. so no food for us for the drive. Further, the ventilation in the bathroon is not solved well at all and we had a bit trouble finding a place to keep our stuff - a table would be nice, but I guess no space for it. Also, that the car was parked 200m from the room was a bit incovenient.

The host was really nice, friendly and fortcoming. Explained how to access the accommodation, where to park and how to get to the beach. The main bed was very comfy, the bunk bed so-so. The common kitchen area was nice with tv and netflix access - pleasant during siesta.

Property has no elevator and has very narrow stairs so it could be difficult to climb with a big baggage on the top floor. The balcony is tiny , it is practically impossible to get to the balcony as the door is very narrow.

Disappointed about the staff. First, they sent me a message through booking telling me that blankets and towels might be optional, then they told me that breakfast was not included. In both cases, I had to check the booking to confirm that they were included and had to ask them to provide these services that I already paid for. I would rate the stay much higher if it were not for these issues.

The facilities were very new and the breakfast very good.

We had such a wonderful stay in La Casa Sul Sasso! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the bed, including the bedding, was so comfortable. The room was cozy and spotless. The shared kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and the breakfast selection was fantastic. We highly recommend it! Thank you so much.

The narrow, steep stone stairs were very difficult to manage.

We arrived very late but the directions to locate the B&B were spot on. Thank you for providing us with a taxi number and leaving the key in the room! The little room was very charming and the bed was comfortable. The very steep staircase was difficult to climb so we left our suitcases downstairs by the front door and just brought whatever we needed to the room...it was only one night. The staff left a nice breakfast for us in the morning so we just helped ourselves. All in all, a short but pleasant stay!

Reading previous reviews, I can't agree about space. Maybe it depends on which room you get. Ours was "il Fiume". Our shower was so narrow, it was like half a shower, and my partner and I are in the small size. No car park but we found one nearby. Breakfast was simple continental but good enough to start the day. Ok for one night.

Big room, clean, very good breakfast and in the beautiful town of Dervio, just a walking distance of eveything: 2 mins to the train station, supermarket and 7 mins to the Traghetto. Totally recommended.

Bathroom, always wet after taking a shower, so narrow bath. The woman who was prepairing breakfast was not very sympathic. She was watching us when we ' re eating breakfast like we were committing a crime. :( felt unconfortable. parking is a problem, but solved. Remember that just leaving the building a crowded street begins, so dangerous especially for little kids.

At the center of Dervio, 5 min walk to the lake. Room enough for 4. Marco was friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa Sul Sasso. It was really easy to get to from the train station and very convenient to travel between the other more touristy towns. The room was lovely, homely and very clean. The breakfast was great too.
