The place is extra comfortable, quiet, intimate and with everything you could need. Perfect for just spending the night but also to rest reading a book contemplating the mountains. And the hosts are very caring and helpful.

We had a great stay! The owner, Pasquale, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He even called the ticket office on our behalf to arrange that we could pick up the via ferrata gear a day early, so we could start earlier in the morning because of the heat — we really appreciated that! His wife makes the most delicious apricot jam from Basilicata, and Pasquale served us breakfast with fresh salad from his own garden, which we also appreciated a lot. He was always easy to reach and very attentive. The apartment itself was spotless, with excellent facilities. It’s very modern, with a fully equipped kitchen — everything you could need is there. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for lots of action this may not be the right spot. If visiting Castelmezzano it is perfect and a nice getaway. Not a lot of restaurant choices in the area.

Peaceful, off the beaten path, beautiful pastoral/mountain views. Not touristy. Our room, the Aurora, was tastefully decorated and was perfectly clean.

The location, the view. The house itself was perfect. The owners are so kind and friendly, they made our short stay unforgettable. The garden and the ambient. It is so clean, made it with style every detail. You can tell that the owners are doing it with a lot of love and passion. In the morning they left us the exceptionall breacfast made of local products. In the kithcen we were welcomed with a basket of jams, different drinks and coffee. We only regret that we havent gor time for more nights, but we definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Not a problem for us 70+ year old's, but the walkway down to the apartment is somewhat steep without any railing and could be a little challenging for someone with mobility problems.

Easy to park, nice, clean, modern studio apartment with beautiful views over the valley. The garden was neatly kept and the patio had plenty of outdoor seating with nice views also. Owner kindly greeted us upon arrival providing information on the apartment and getting around the area. She also gave us the name of a family run restaurant in town where we had a fabulous meal.

Fantastic well appointed studio apartment a few kms from the town. Views of the valley and dramatic rocks with the clinking bell sounds of nearby cows make for an idealic setting. Hosts very welcoming and were there to greet us when we said we would arrive (this has not happened in other apartment stays in Italy!) Great breakfast provisions.

Pasquale is an excellent host! La Casa Nel Verde is in perfect location. The place is extremely clean.The breakfast is rich and good quality. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the garden, admiring the nature around. We recommend Casa Nel Verde and hope to return in the future.

The owner left a beautiful and delicious tart outside of our door in the morning - handmade by his mother! There was juice boxes and yogurt in the fridge. Much appreciated! Everything was very clean and newly updated.

Outside of busy town and very quiet and perfect for sleeping well. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, immaculate apartment. Very pleasant patio and gorgeous views. Very friendly hosts and plenty of welcome snacks. Breakfast delivered to our room of fresh eggs and ham and cheese with bread.

Excellent, clean and very convenient place to visit Castelmezzano! Well maintained suite. Host is amazing and made us very comfortable the minute we made the booking to the end of our stay. Our visit had events at Castelmezzano and would not allow entry of cars or parking.Host dropped and picked us up personally, shows the commitment to customer service.

Beautiful property! So much attention to detail. Lovely room. Breakfast was great. Scrumptious cake and homemade marmalade. Cannot praise this place and the people enough! There’s a beautiful little mountain village a very short drive away. Outside space to sit on a warm evening. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect,

We LOVED this B&B, it literally was in the middle of nowhere and the nature which we loved, but only a few kilometres to the little village of Castelmezzano which was lovely to wander around (very good bar there served excellent Alperol Spritz). En route, we visited Pietrapertosa, Italy's highest village and well worth driving to, the views are to die for from both villages! Host was excellent, as was the breakfast. Very spacious & quiet room with full dining table and well stocked kitchenette. Made use of the comfy covered outdoor seating with fabulous views. Off street parking and good wifi!

I love everything about Casa bel Verde, location ( 4 minutes drive from Castelmezzano) breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys and Pasquale and his wife such a great people. Besides stocking the apartment with coffee pods and goodies she baked homemade apple cake with products from their land!

We loved how clean and stocked the duplex was. The family was very welcoming and there was parking right in front. It was a convenient 5 minute drive to the town. The owner recommended an amazing restaurant, Al becco della civetta. I would stay here again!
